I absolutely think this is the best dental office in Hickory North Carolina. I have been a patient with Dr McKinney since he came to this practice he and his staff are excellent. I have had crowns dental implant and fillings all with great success. I have been a patient there for many years ,Wendy is my dental hygienist and she is the best. I would highly recommend this practice for everyone.

Dr. McKinney is the best. Great staff and friendly people. Dr. McKinney is gentle, caring and does excellent work.

He is focused on staying at the top of his field by learning new techniques and technologies and it shows in the experience that you receive as a patient. No one likes going to the dentist but my experiences with Dr. McKinney have helped alleviate my fear and anxiety and he has 100% earned my trust. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone.

Dr. McKinney and his staff are the best. For the first time in my adult life I am not afraid to go to the dentist. Dr.

McKinney is so gentle and caring, he wants you to be happy with your smile and will do whatever it takes to make that happen. Going to my previous dental hygienist was so painful, but Sheila is gentle, sweet and funny! Making the 1 ½ hour drive to Hickory is so worth it. Oakwood Dental Arts is the best!

Personable and very experienced staff. Dr. McKinney is awesome, he is patient oriented, provides excellent/expedient and comprehensive care. Observing his interaction with his staff, I thought it made for a very pleasant atmosphere.

I had broken a tooth in half earlier this week. He was able to save the existing tooth by placing a permanent crown the very same day! I did not feel him inject the Novocain and I heard the sound of drilling but really did not feel much of anything, absolutely no pain or discomfort at all. All of his staff are wonderful! As an aside, I also received one dental implant last year and will be finishing a second implant this next week, so I know this experience to be the rule and not the exception. Best Dentist, best staff ever…
