I just wanted to say I am extremely satisfied today after my emergency dental appointment this morning. I had been suffering from a toothache for about a week. I have severe anxiety and PTSD and have had some very bad experiences with dental work in Connecticut, so I was worried about going to my first NY dentist. Little did I know I was going to be taken such good care of, I was listened to and thoroughly informed by Dr Giezler and his assistant Cindy. I was treated with compassion and empathy and given a comprehensive plan for my mouth, which has been in a very bad state for years.

They were exceptionally friendly and professional and didn’t rush me out the door, they even have somebody here who helps you get on insurance if you don’t have it. I really appreciate the experience I had today, they have no idea how much it means to me but I have been through a lot, and it really made my day that everyone here was so kind and that I was really treated like a person. I would highly recommend this place to anybody. It is very clean, they take emergency appointments, they use clean tools and equipment, follow CDC guidelines etc. The name Open Door is very fitting.

For the first time I am actually looking forward to my next dental appointment. I am so happy and my tooth feels fine now.
