Oral Health Partnership

Oral Health Partnership (OHP), also known as Brown County Oral Health Partnership, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2007 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Its core mission is to transform the lives of children in the community by ensuring access to excellent oral health services and education. OHP primarily serves children from birth to age 19 who face significant barriers to dental care, including those who are uninsured with limited financial resources or are covered by Medical Assistance (Medicaid/BadgerCare) but struggle to find providers. OHP operates through a multi-faceted approach, including: Clinic Care: They have multiple dental clinic locations in Green Bay, with their main administrative office and a clinic situated at 1245 Main St, Green Bay, WI 54302. Other clinic locations include Fox Heights Lane, Siegler Street, Howe Community Resource Center, and The Salvation Army Kroc Center. These clinics provide comprehensive dental services. School-Based Program: OHP extends its reach by visiting over 40 schools and daycares in Brown County school districts (including De Pere, Denmark, Green Bay, Howard-Suamico, Pulaski, and West De Pere) with mobile dental equipment. This program brings essential dental services directly to students who qualify, performing thousands of procedures annually. Hospital Services: For children with severe decay, young age, or behavioral/physical concerns that prevent them from receiving traditional clinic care, OHP partners with hospitals (such as St. Vincent Hospital) to provide treatment under general anesthesia in a single visit. This ensures complex cases are addressed effectively and keeps children out of emergency rooms. The services offered by OHP are comprehensive and include, but are not limited to: Dental exams and cleanings X-rays Fluoride varnishes Dental sealants Fillings (amalgam and composite) Oral hygiene instructions for children and parents Pulpotomies (infant root canals) Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) applications to arrest decay Stainless steel crowns Extractions OHP addresses a critical community need, as many children in Brown County would otherwise lack access to vital dental care, leading to preventable cavities, pain, and other health issues that can impact their overall well-being, eating, sleeping, and academic focus. They actively work to bridge this gap, serving nearly 10,000 patients annually and performing over 100,000 procedures. The organization relies on community support and partnerships to continue its vital work.
