Dr. Eugenio Herbosa, DMD, MMSc, is a distinguished Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with a significant presence in the St. Louis, Missouri area. He is part of the practice known as Oral Surgery STL, which is also identified as Monterubio & Herbosa oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Herbosa's extensive educational background includes earning his dental degree (DMD) from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines. He furthered his studies in the United States, completing a three-year fellowship program in Oral Pathology at Harvard University, where he obtained a Master of Medical Sciences (MMSc) in Oral Biology and a Specialty Certificate in Oral Pathology. Following this, he undertook a Residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. In 1988, he completed a post-residency Fellowship focusing on the non-surgical and surgical treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders and surgical correction of dentofacial deformities at St. Mary's Health Center / St. Louis University Medical School. Dr. Herbosa is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, signifying his high level of expertise and commitment to the specialty. He has been in private practice in St. Louis since 1991.
