I have never experienced such unprofessional care in my life! I was so grateful that this office was able to fit me in last minute, but after arriving I became very anxious and unsure of what care I was about to receive. Dr. L. started off with an xray, mind u I have an infection and severe swelling in my gums, jaw and cheek. I was told to start cooperating more all because I needed them to take their time and be more gentle. His assistant was some young girl who sat in the corner on her phone and did practically nothing to assist. I was given several shots for numbing and they were not taking.
Docs hands were shaking really bad as he injected one by one and I tried to asked him to slow down, again he made it all seem like it was my fault, and reminded me that they got me in and only had 20 minutes to remove this tooth. After 3 more rounds of approximately 12 shots that he did not care to do carefully, he made some very unnecessary remarks about how I get medication. Finally I panicked and had enough, I insisted that they let me up, and I was leaving before he could even begin to cut into my gums. I was almost numb at this time, but didn't wanna take any more chances. I was a nervous wreck. Not one time while I shed tears on this table was I consoled in any way, actually the exact opposite happened and was spoken to like a prisoner in lockdown. Oh and how many places do not let you bring your purse in, or allow the person driving u, to keep it? Also, when putting the napkin over my chest and neck, it was tied beyond my neck and strapped around the neck of the Gurnee/ bed.
Almost like I was stuck there until they let me up! I left in tears and very frightened, Im more pain now than I went in with. Traumatized is an understatement, when I told him his bed side manner was very lacking, he Imformed me that everyone loves him!!! Wow, I am still in shock by this experience and will also be leaving a complaint with the dental society. Please be aware, This man should not be in practice. The shaking alone is not good, add the lack of empathy and its a zero star from me.

Horrible experience for my grandma!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. She had to get a tooth removed and it was the most horrific experience for her. Doctor was not compassionate and does not care about his patients feelings. He uses old style techniques. My grandma needed x-rays and they never gave her a x-ray apron.
She asked if she could get one and they responded “we don’t use them here”. When she was getting her tooth pulled out she was SCREAMING in pain. She can handle pain pretty well but she did not have enough sedatives to numb the area. We would not recommend anyone to go here.

Went to have tooth extracted. Doctor was very rude, made comments about my medications and how I spelled one. Unprofessional! Shaky hands. Very rough and did not use enough anesthetic even tho he knew I was in pain, he yanked the tooth out. Was in more pain than when I went in. This guy should not be practicing! Highly do not recommend!

I needed to have 2 teeth, that had become infected, pulled. I was referred to Dr Lavieri by my dentist. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Dr Lavieri made sure that I was comfortable and that the numbing was complete. He chatted with me and explained everything that he was doing. His assistant was also friendly.
The receptionist was extremely accommodating while helping me to find an appointment time. I highly recommend Dr Lavieri and his staff. Thank you for a great experience for something that can be very nerve wracking.
