I cannot say enough good things about Pafford Endodontics!! From the first call all the way to the procedure, they were so kind and welcoming. I've been in pain for about 2. 5 months trying to avoid a root canal, but I now wish I had done this earlier. Dr. Pafford and his team will calm your nerves and explain the procedure so that you understand what's happening.

I appreciated this as it was my first root canal. His staff is exceptional and very kind, as they seem to realize that coming to an endodontist means you are in a good bit of pain. My root canal was probably more complicated than most, but I knew I was in excellent hands. While I hope I do not need another root canal, I will definitely go back here if I do, and wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Pafford for your endodontic needs!

I recently had a new crown done and afterwards experienced sharp pain whenever I chewed on that side of the mouth. After the second replacement of that the crown, the pain didn’t go away. I was referred to Dr. Pafford by a long time specialist in Buckhead for possible evaluation and possible root canal procedure, if warranted. The Buckhead specialist indicated that most endodontists would likely go directly to a root canal but that Dr. Pafford would likely suggest other options unless a root canal was clearly needed. I was immediately contacted by Dr.

Pafford’s office to set up a soonest possible appointment for an inspection and evaluation of my tooth. After examining and x-ray of my tooth, Dr. Pafford then recommended 2 possible approaches for my situation. He suggested adjusting my bite at and near the painful tooth, and if that didn't work, I could go back for a root canal procedure. I agreed to his plan and was able to chew without excruciating pain as soon as I returned home after suffering the pain whenever chewing on the subject tooth side of the mouth for the past 5 months. While a root canal may still need to be done if the pain comes back or other complications arise, I really felt Dr. Pafford handled the situation very correctly.

The examination, x-ray, and bite adjustment are a low cost compared to a root canal. Dr. Pafford and assistants were gentle, considerate, respectful, and best of all put the patient first. I would definitely go back to Dr Pafford for any future endodontist dental care.

Fantastic job by Dr. Pafford and the whole team! First root canal, and I was very nervous. I procrastinated getting it done. I have regrets about that because I dealt with pain for six months and shouldn't have.

Very professional, very knowledgeable. Thanks for making what I thought was going to be a stressful procedure, routine. Dr. Pafford and team will be my go-to Endodontist if I have an issue like this again!

Dr Pafford and his team are the absolute best! They took me in for an emergency root canal at 6:45 am before their office even opened because I was in pain and leaving on a business trip the same day for a week. Dr Pafford did an amazing job and a few hours later I was in the plane with little to no pain and root canal was done. This is amazing patient care! Highly recommend this dentist!
