Park Dental Albertville-St. Michael is a specific location within the extensive Park Dental network, a prominent and well-established dental group that has been serving communities in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin since 1972. Unlike individual practices, Park Dental operates as a doctor-owned and led group, which they state allows for a consistent, patient-first approach to care and the ability to invest in advanced technology and ongoing professional development for their teams. The Albertville-St. Michael practice is conveniently located in the Stellis Health Clinic Building, offering free on-site parking. They strive to provide a welcoming and stress-free environment for patients of all ages, from children to seniors. Park Dental Albertville-St. Michael offers a wide range of dental services, categorized into: Preventive Services: Including dental exams, X-rays, and cleanings, crucial for maintaining long-term oral health. They also have a dedicated Children's Care Program. Restorative Services: Such as crowns, fillings (composite/white fillings), and bridges, to address cavities, decay, and broken or missing teeth. Cosmetic Procedures: Aimed at enhancing smiles, these include teeth whitening, veneers, and other aesthetic treatments. Advanced Services: This category encompasses more complex procedures like dental implants and various orthodontic options. Their philosophy centers on "patient-centered care," guided by principles of Service, Excellence, Respect, Value, Integrity, Collaboration, and Education. This means they prioritize the individual needs of each patient, providing thorough examinations, clear explanations of treatment options, and working with patients to create affordable and effective care plans. They accept most dental insurance plans and offer "Care Packages" for those without insurance, along with same-day cash discounts. Park Dental places a strong emphasis on clinical excellence, with doctors and team members undergoing continuous education, peer evaluations, and adhering to rigorous quality assurance standards. They maintain partnerships with dental specialists to ensure patients receive the right care for more complex issues. Beyond the clinic, Park Dental is actively involved in community initiatives. They participate in programs like "Give Kids a Smile," providing free oral health services to underserved children, and the Minnesota Dental Association's "Mission of Mercy." They also engage in local community events, health fairs, and school educational programs, demonstrating their commitment to improving overall community health and promoting dental hygiene.

I have been going to Park Dental for years but recently moved to the Albertville area so I decided to start going to the Albertville dental office. I have been very pleased with the dental care there. Everyone has been friendly and caring. When I had a really old filling fall out, they were able to fit me in their schedule right away and put in a new filling.

Dr. Litzenberg did a really great job on the new filling. I felt no pain and the new filling is feeling much better than the old one. Thankful to have found such a great dentist and friendly staff close to home!

We have been going here since we moved to the area and have always been pleased. Our son is old enough now to have his teeth done as well. We have been scheduling our appointments at the same time and they are always really good with keeping us together. This appointment was a little different and they started with my son, came and got me for mine, then brought him back to my room when he was finished.

My son has ADHD with sensory issues so he didn't allow his hygienist to clean the back of his teeth. The hygienist said they would try again the next time, but if he didn't allow them to clean we would need to go to a pediatric dentist. The Hygienist who was working on my teeth asked me if it was ok if he tried doing my son's teeth, since he had a little extra time. He did really well explaining the tools to him, showed him how they work and what they do.

He asked permission to clean using water and allowed me to hold my son's hand to keep him calm. He did an amazing job talking with him through it all, answering his questions, and really went above and beyond his duty to make him comfortable.

I went to this location because I had a broken tooth and I was having severe tooth pain that wouldn't go away and they were the only office that had availability near my area. The dentist took an X-ray and determined that I had a tooth that needed to be pulled (obviously). However, when I asked him to prescribe me with some strong pain pills to help the pain go away, he only prescribed me with Tylenol 3. I asked him if that would be strong enough to take the pain away and he said probably not. Then I asked if he was going to prescribe me with antibiotics because in most cases when you're having constant tooth pain you typically have an infection. He told me I didn't need antibiotics and I don't have an infection. Shortly after I left the dentist office, I went to the emergency room because I couldn't bare the pain anymore. The doctor gave me novacaine, prescribed me with Oxycodone to cope with the pain and he also gave me antibiotics because although he wasn't a dentist, he was smart enough to know that an infection was likely causing the pain. The next day, I went to Aspen dental and they did X-rays and immediately discovered that there was an infection.

They were shocked that the dentist at Park dental didn't prescribe me with antibiotics. Now that I have been on antibiotics to treat the infection, the pain has went away. I'm scheduled to get my tooth extraction in a couple days. If you go to Park Dental Albertville, stay away from the tall bald headed dentist. Clearly he doesn't care about taking care of his patients. People can die from having tooth infections that go untreated because the infection can get into your blood stream and travel down to your heart and primary organs, which will eventually cause them to shut down if the infection isn't treated soon enough. The dentist didn't prescribe me with antibiotics to treat the obvious infection or care enough to prescribe me with pain pills strong enough to help me cope with my tooth pain. It was a complete waste of time and money. I already knew I had a bad tooth that needed to be extracted.

They did absolutely nothing to resolve my problem. They failed to identify my infection and treat me for it and they were careless about treating my pain. The dentist admitted that the pills he was giving me weren't going to make my pain go away. So why not give me pain pills that are strong enough? Clearly I'm dealing with a dental emergency and I have a broken tooth. I told him I was in excruciating pain. Why allow your patients to keep suffering in pain? Why did a hospital doctor care for me better than a dentist that is supposed to be a specialist? He should lose his license and be fired.

I went to PD out of convenience when l moved to Albertville. As someone else posted, the same dentist told me my teeth are excellent and 6 months later I needed 2 crowns with several cracks. I made an appt and after discussing with others, I canceled my appointment. Happy for that. My insurance changed due to my job. I scheduled a teeth cleaning which should have been 100% covered.

Unknown to me,, I was on periodontal maintence per PD and I got a bill for my bi-annual check up. I called the clinic and questioned the difference between a teeth cleaning and periodontal maintenance as the process was still the same. Wrong Q I guess. . . did I get an earful from the hygentist and a scolding for not coming in every 3 months as directed.

Just to let you know the difference between a cleaning & periodontal maintenance: they are the same but they go a bit deeper on the higher levels. Now mind you, I'm in the chair the same amount of time as a cleaning and do they dig deeper if my gums are already pulling away? The hygentist that called me back was very programed with her responses, telling me this wasn't the first time being questioned. I really think that clients should be owed and explanation of their services rendered.
