Detailed Introduction

Partnership Community Health Center (PCHC) - Dental, located at 825 W Fulton St, Waupaca, WI 54981, is part of a larger community health center system dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality, and compassionate healthcare services. Established as a federally qualified health center (FQHC) in 2004, PCHC has over 25 years of experience serving medically underserved populations in central Wisconsin, specifically the tri-county area of Calumet, Outagamie, and Winnebago counties, which includes Waupaca. The dental clinic focuses on providing comprehensive oral health services for all ages, from children to adults. Their services include preventive care such as exams, X-rays, cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments, as well as restorative services like fillings, root canals, and extractions. They also offer referrals for specialty care, including partial and complete dentures. A key aspect of PCHC's mission is to ensure healthcare access for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. They accept various insurance plans, including Medicaid (BadgerCare+ or the ForwardHealth card), which is notable as not all dental providers in the area accept it. Furthermore, they offer a sliding fee discount program based on household size and income for uninsured and underinsured patients, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent individuals from receiving necessary dental care. They are committed to not turning away anyone due to inability to pay. PCHC operates with a patient-centered approach, aiming to create a safe and welcoming environment. Their values emphasize equity, respect, compassion, community, and service excellence. They strive to deliver exceptional patient experiences and continuously improve services based on patient feedback and evidence-based practices. Their community involvement extends to addressing health disparities and providing essential services to vulnerable populations, including new immigrants and refugees.

5 stars solely for my DH Stephanie. She was so understanding of my anxiety during both of my deep cleanings. Very personable, caring, and thorough.

I'm only giving one star, I would not recommend going here. I had a filling done and had to go back to get it fixed. Went in for a "cleaning" only to be told I have to come back for 4 separate appointments to get deep cleanings, she literally told the patient next to me the same thing while I has waiting. Ridiculous. But that's how they make their money I guess.

My dental hygienist was a sweet woman Named Katie. When I walked in Katie was very sweet to me and was very talkative and talk to me through the whole process of my teeth cleaning. When I was done, I told her I was going to invest in an electric toothbrush and that I wanted to find a nice one. She gave me a brand new quip toothbrush and I enjoy it a lot and it works really well. She was also very gentle with cleaning my teeth!! Edit - I forgot to mention how nice the front desk women are.

They were very patient with me and my questions. As well as the older man who was the main doctor and was extremely kind. I have only good things to say about this place.

I'm only leaving 5 stars for their employee Katie and the nurses. If it weren't for them I would leave one star. They are the kindest and most understanding people. I had a pretty rude dentist my first visit, who left me crying, and I was tempted to not even come back to this clinic at all since I was able to get into the better clinic in Appleton (I go there for most things now), but I am glad I did come here for my hygiene at least because Katie was so welcoming and sympathetic, explaining things to me during my appointment, and helping me stay calm. She didn't judge me or talk down to me about the state of my teeth like the first dentist I saw here did. She was understanding of my situation and encouraging.

Katie genuinely just wanted to help me get my tooth health back on track. My first dentist I saw here, I don't remember her name, after seeing my teeth was extremely rude and talked down to me like I was an idiot and I felt like she was basically saying it was my fault my teeth are this way, even though I'm barely an adult and this is my first time being able to afford getting regular dental care. I left crying, only able to compose myself for long enough to walk out thanks to the very kind nurse. The nurses, front desk ladies, and hygienists are SO sweet and kind. The actual dentists, not so much. .

. Katie, and the nurses, THANK YOU. This clinic would be amazing if only their dentists had half the kindness of their other staff.
