Detailed Introduction

Dr. Harry P. Pasqual, DDS, operated a dental practice in Pittsburgh, PA, with a focus on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. While the current listing might refer to a specific individual, historical information indicates that Dr. Harry Nicholas Pasqual (who passed away in July 2024 at the age of 97) had a significant and long-standing practice known as "Pasqual Associates." This practice, which operated for over five decades, initially in Mt. Lebanon and later expanding to East Liberty and McMurray, PA, was a prominent fixture in the Pittsburgh dental community. Dr. Pasqual's expertise encompassed a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures. This included common treatments like wisdom teeth removal and dental extractions, as well as more complex interventions such as dental implants, bone grafting for facial and dental reconstruction, and the diagnosis and treatment of facial pain, facial injuries, and TMJ disorders. A notable aspect of Dr. Pasqual's practice was his commitment to advanced techniques and patient care. He was recognized as one of the first in his field to integrate lasers into his surgical practice. He held prestigious affiliations, including being a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine & Surgery. He also published numerous articles in scientific journals, reflecting his dedication to research and advancements in the specialty. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Pasqual was deeply involved in academia. He served as a Clinical Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and was also president of the Alumni Association. He was a member of the medical staff at several local hospitals, including St. Francis General Hospital, St. Clair Hospital, Jefferson Hospital, and UPMC Hospitals, and served as a consultant for the Veterans Hospital of Pittsburgh. Patient testimonials often highlighted Dr. Pasqual's compassionate approach, excellent bedside manner, and the professional and caring nature of his staff. He was known for ensuring patients felt comfortable and well-informed, and for providing thorough follow-up care. While the specific "Pasqual Harry P DDS" listing may refer to a current individual or a legacy name, the history points to a well-established and highly regarded oral and maxillofacial surgery practice with a strong reputation for comprehensive and advanced dental care.

I have never been so disregarded or disrespected by a Dr! After waiting 50 min after getting Novocain to have a tooth extracted, when he finally came in the room and asked how i was doing, I told him I felt like the Novocain was wearing off, in a condescending way (like I’m crazy) told me I was still within the 2. 5 hr window, I shouldn’t feel a thing, only pressure but no pain.

He proceeded to attempt the extraction, as I expected it was PAINFUL and hurt, I was making groaning noises, he stood up and leaned over me and said “your gonna need to be a little more quiet, your being too loud, there’s a little boy in the next room and your gonna scare him”!!!!!! UMM WHAT??? Maybe you shouldn’t have waited almost an hour after giving me Novocain to start the procedure! EVERY PATIENT GOING THERE SHOULD BE SCARED!!! So I told him to stop, I don’t think I want to continue, he turned around, and said I’m going to have to get this tooth taken care of, then he and his nurse both left the room and left me sitting there. No suction, no rinse or anything.

I got up and walked over to the sink to get water to rinse the blood out of my mouth and walked out IN TEARS!! Now I’m hurting even worse than I was before and have to try the hospital for emergency dental with anesthesia. My whole left side of face hurts!!!! I swear they enjoy seeing you in pain! The front staff were nice and professional!

He did my wisdom teeth in 2015. I was in excruciating pain immediately after returning home. For years after I dealt with periodic tooth pain with my two morals closest to my bottom left extraction site. Dentists could never figure out what was wrong. In the past few years both teeth have since broken in half requiring one crown and one extraction.

The nerve in the rear most moral was discovered to be dead. My dentist believes Dr. Pasqual may have so severely mangled my wisdom teeth extraction that he severed the nerve on my one tooth and damaged the other causing my teeth to become brittle and break.

I had the absolute worst experience of my life today at this dental clinic . The doctor who sen me was a heavy set older man with white hair and glasses he said he numbed my gums so I could get my wisdom tooth pulled but I was in excruciating pain during the procedure when I asked him to stop due to pain he punched my arm and said is it pain or pressure.

I asked the nurses to help because of how rude and aggressive the doctor was being with me they denied me kicked me out and was verbally racist. I left with a mouth full of blood and no after care!

Absolutely loved my doctor. After a stay in the hospital, trips to the ER and nobody believing me about my pain even though I have an infection , it's so nice to have a doctor BELIEVE me. I was so scared and didn't want to get a tooth ripped from my skull but had to. No way around it. He made it a painless experience. He was so calm and reassured me it'll be okay.

Numbed me up extra. Showed me the disgusting monster tooth. Ya, it was a very stressful situation but my gosh he was amazing. I HIGHLY recommend.
