The staff is always friendly and helpful. They are pleasant and patient with all my requests. Hygienists have always been gentle and caring of my concerns and needs while maintaining friendly professionalism. Both Drs have been kind and willing to answer my questions and take time with me. I have only had good experiences with them so far, after several years of going there.

Having just moved to Paw Paw, we brought my son here with pain in his teeth. There are two ladies that answer the phones and also happen to be the ones to reach you absolutely wonderful people they do a great job of concealing the judgment riddled staff that are a direct reflection of the dentist. It took less than 5 seconds for his assistant to offend and infuriate me. She is that old school, stuffy, judgmental, entitled, privileged white lady. I can't confirm or deny this but she seems like the type of lady that would hide behind the Bible as a justification for her judgmental actions and for the way that she speaks to people. She comes outside with a paper that I still am not sure what it is because she never gave it to me she was too busy waving it and excitedly telling me that I can't leave my minor kid there!! Like I'm treating them as if they were babysitters.
If she would have stopped and talked to the person that they place in the position to deal with customers and asked her where I was at she could have told her that I had already discussed with her that I'm claustrophobic and therefore I'd be waiting outside the building, since I parked in front of the door. Apparently one judgmental session was not enough to cure me she decided to come back out a second time and begin with her critical questioning and telling me how things weren't adding up because my son hadn't been to the dentist since January and she's like standing there accusing me of lying I told them my wife took my son to all the dental appointments previously but now because I am finishing off my degree in school I'm now responsible for appts. Some of the less priority appointments like the dentist or the optometrist sometimes it takes a minute for all necessary information to be exchanged between my wife and I during this time of transition. Now here was this woman making very clearly pointed in judgmental comments about how it wasn't adding up. As if I placed enough value on her opinion to feel the need to lie. They assumed that I couldn't pay for the x-rays out of pocket even though I turned over and FSA card with 3,500 on it at the beginning of the appointment in fact when I came in the first thing I did after turning over paperwork was to prepay for services so while she was judging and acting as if we we're "that family".
In a small town where opinions matter, where every customer for a small town dentist matters, he just lost the billing rights for three customers (with insurance and fat FSA accts. ) because she couldn't hide the disdainful judgment from her voice for the 10 total seconds that she spoke with me. Maybe the dentist's schedule it's so full that he just can't take on new patients. Great news, there's three other dentists in the Paw Paw area so myself and my referrals will be going to one of the others.

I recently visited Paw Paw Family Dentistry for my 3-year-old's appointment, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience. Despite having a scheduled appointment, we were forced to wait over an hour before being seen. As any parent knows, keeping a 3-year-old calm and entertained for such a long wait is incredibly difficult and stressful. I understand that delays can happen, but there was a complete lack of communication and consideration for the situation.
No updates were provided, and there was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience this caused. This kind of wait time is unacceptable, especially when dealing with young children. I hope the practice can address this issue and make improvements to better respect their patients' time, especially for families with young children.

Amazing people and very great with my children! Always getting treated with a lot of respect and they make sure to explain everything they are doing as they go.
