The clinic aims to provide a welcoming and fun environment to alleviate any anxiety children and parents may have about dental visits. They are known for their patient-centered approach, ensuring each child receives personalized and gentle care. The clinic emphasizes preventative dentistry, offering routine check-ups, cleanings, Fluoride treatments, and Dental sealants to protect young smiles. They also provide comprehensive restorative treatments, including fillings and other necessary procedures. The team at Pediatric Dentistry of Lewisburg is highly trained and experienced in working with children, striving to make each visit an enjoyable and educational one. They focus on candid communication with parents about their child's dental health and treatment plans, encouraging questions and fostering a collaborative approach to care. The clinic's staff works individually with children, using age-appropriate methods to teach them about good dental hygiene habits that can last a lifetime. Patient testimonials often highlight the friendly atmosphere, the thorough explanations provided, and the compassionate care from the dentists and staff, noting that the practice makes "an unpleasant experience, very enjoyable." Dr. Jay Holtus is listed as a dentist associated with the practice.

Took my baby boy in for his very first check up and was 15 minutes late!! I used GOOGLE MAPS to get me there from Williamsport and when I turned to Hospital Rd the GPS told me to make another right at the next street but that's not correct. Keep going another 100 ft and it's right there on the right, parking out on the side and more on the back. Walked in with my Gunner and what a nice clean modern building with toys for the young ones! I checked in with the very nice young woman at the front and she made me feel at ease about everything after I explained what happened! I was expecting to reschedule and a scolding but got the opposite! She took our information and was very informative about everything. Once checked in we waited not even 5 minutes and a Hygienest named Tess. She was amazing! Great small talk and made my baby boy feel at ease! Explained everything easily and clearly. Showed me me what to look for and gave me some tips I didn’t think about! Very impressed! Then then the main show started and Doc Jay came up and checked my son out.

What a great guy!! He examined my son and and showed me everything he was looking for and was very transparent. I knew my son was in great hands. I asked a couple questions and Doc Jay bestowed upon me some little known knowledge to pass onto my mother in law haha. You'll be at ease when you see and meet him. The exam room is REALLY OPEN and extremely comfortable even for adults! nice and bright. Plenty of room for you to sit with your child.

Overall, EXTREMELY satisfied with this Dentistry. I would highly recommend going here for your pediatric dental needs. I drove from Williamsport and it wasn't so bad coming down. Oh! If it's your first time visiting REQUEST the first time patient packet to fill out PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST VISIT. It will save you so much time. My wife requested and got it printed out and filled out and all I had to do was hand it in and BAM!

Positives: Beautiful building and kids do like the atmosphere with the TVs and toys. Contracted anesthesiologist (Dr. Dincher) had excellent bedside manner. Negatives: Main dentist is very pushy and puts off a strong "I know more than you" vibe. We had multiple incidents of unpleasant interactions with him as well as with one particular office staff member. Didn't love the no parents "back there" policy.

Major (and expensive) procedures along with general anesthesia are recommended too casually for my liking. Debated on posting this less than flattering review, but felt it's important to let others know that they're not alone if they've had similar experiences and concerns. I will add that our experiences were 2-3 years ago (currently 2022), so perhaps things have improved. We no longer visit this office. While it is challenging and a lengthy wait to get into some of the other pediatric dental offices in the area, in our case, at least, it's been well worth it.

My toddler is autistic and this was his first time seeing a dentist so I was very nervous for how his appointment would go. They were extremely accommodating, understanding, and patient with us. A great environment, amazing staff, and an all around pleasant experience.

Took my 3 year old son for his first visit today. Overall I really liked the place and the atmosphere. The assistants were great with myself and son but the only down fall was having a toddler wait around an hour to be seen. He did play with the toys and I got him to watch the movie.

We arrived 15 mins early as instructed to fill out the paper work but were not taken to the back until 145p when our appt was for 1p. I even made arrangements to come to an earlier appt because i received a text the morning of that said they had a cancellation before my original appt at 130p No one acknowledged that they were running behind which pushed into my son's nap time in which he was very cranky by the time he was seen. They did best they could but I don't believe they did everything they wanted. I was also told to schedule around nap time next time but for the first visit the availability was very limited and I took what i could get since I was told the next opening wasn't until the end of summer.

We will be back in 6 months.
