Detailed Introduction

Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) is a well-established and highly-regarded non-profit healthcare organization serving the communities of Kitsap, Mason, and rural Pierce Counties in Western Washington. Founded in 1987 as Kitsap Community Clinic, it achieved Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status in 1995, signifying its commitment to providing comprehensive primary care to underserved populations. PCHS operates on a mission to deliver accessible, affordable, compassionate, and quality health and wellness services to its communities, with a guiding principle to "see and value every person." This commitment is reflected in their patient-centered approach, offering a wide array of integrated healthcare services under one umbrella. These services include primary medical care for all ages, dental services, behavioral health counseling, substance use disorder treatment (including MOUD services with Buprenorphine and Naltrexone), and pharmacy services. They also provide various support services, such as insurance enrollment assistance, language support, and care coordination. The Port Orchard Medical Clinic, located at 320 S Kitsap Blvd, Port Orchard, WA 98366, is a state-of-the-art facility featuring thirteen examination rooms and a fully licensed Class A pharmacy on-site, allowing patients to conveniently obtain their prescription medications. PCHS embraces a team-based, collaborative care model where medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy professionals work closely together, often sharing the same electronic health record, to ensure integrated and holistic patient care. As an FQHC, PCHS is dedicated to serving all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. They accept most major insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, and Tricare, and offer an extensive sliding-fee scale for uninsured or underinsured patients based on household income and family size. PCHS also provides extended hours clinics at other locations and has a mobile healthcare fleet, including a "Molar Roller" dental clinic, to reach patients who face barriers to traditional care. They are accredited as a Patient-Centered Medical and Dental Home by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), highlighting their commitment to high-quality, coordinated care. Patient feedback generally praises the friendly and professional staff, and the organization's focus on compassionate, comprehensive care.

I’ve been living in Washington and using PCHS for 3 years. The level of unprofessionalisim is totally unmatched from anything I’ve seen before. They regularly reschedule appointments even if it’s scheduled 6 weeks in advance. My wife almost died due to their negligence, and when brought to their attention, they didn’t care. DO NOT GO HERE.

Do not go to this office if you need a perception filled right away you will have to wait a month to go see a DR for a med you have been on for 7 years with no issues with any other doctor, they also regularly do not answer messages, Breach of duty: Doctors have a duty to provide appropriate medical care to their patients. If they breach this duty by not prescribing necessary medication, they may be held liable for any resulting harm.

This is where I see my Psychiatrist. She is so friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She listens to me and asks ME questions about how I am doing, to give the best diagnosis possible and prescribe medication that really helps me.

Patient confidentiality does not exist here. They accidentally leaked my 8yr old daughter’s private & personal information. When I tried to ask questions they got hostile with me, when I demanded some sort of explanation they told me I can leave. After 5 requests, Manager wouldn’t come out till I began raising my voice. She came out & tells me that someone has all her private and personal info and was calling making schedules on my daughter’s behalf.

(We confirmed it wasn’t anyone related or known to us) when I began asking her for any information, so we can protect ourselves, they caught on that this is probably a huge legal liability for them and everyone just shut up and began saying there is nothing we can do. They wouldn’t call the administrator or do anything at all about it. Just simply, whoops we leaked your private information & you’re just gonna have to deal with it & leave. They will have a lawsuit pending soon. Anyone else experiencing fraudulent or illegal activity here.

Find me and DM me. If we don’t shut down irresponsible criminal organizations, no one will. Or at least hold them accountable. Also noticed ALOT of fake 5-Star reviews on here… big RED flag. Easy to spot a fake review…
