Let’s call it LESS THAN PERFECT FROWN instead…. Please. For the love of your molars and incisors…Do NOT go to this nightmare of a dental practice. I came here for the first time, disregarding all of their terrible reviews…to my own detriment. I show up on time, wait for 30 minutes in a waiting room that has signs all over it “no narcotics given OR prescribed!!” Apparently, they are insinuating that patients only come here to try to secure drugs? Idk. Made me uncomfortable. But they also have a sign “don’t knock on the window when you arrive! JUST WAIT!!” So you get the message they don’t want to be bothered, immediately. If you’re lucky, you might get seen by a real dentist!!……. … for all of 2 minutes. One peek inside my mouth and a quick x-ray later, I was told to leave and that I will have to wait 3 weeks for an extraction. I was given penicillin due to a horribly painful cracked tooth that already had a root canal before….

that led to infection. Even though it was nerve-less, it was still a painful issue because there was an abscess. A very painful thing. All they did was give me a script for penicillin and make me an appointment. Thanks, that’s cool, I’ll take what I can get. However, I prefer to feel cared about when I see the dentist… they are more like a “bare minimum” or “hit it and quit it” dentist. I am nursing and was weary to take anything, but they said I had to and assured me all would be fine. Thankfully, I had the mental capacity to think “I should check with the pediatrician first”. They told me what signs to look for in case my baby had any allergic reactions. The nurse there didn’t know anything about that, but she seemed pretty kind so this isn’t about her… it’s just about the entire practice. I call “PERFECT” smile multiple times in the days following my “exam” (that’s what the secretary called it when I checked out) to ask if I was still supposed to be in so much pain 5 days later (the Tylenol and advil I was taking around the clock was starting to not even touch the pain and I was worried the antibiotic wasn’t the right strain)….

it would have been GREAT if they had enough professionalism to simply call me back or ANSWER so that I had that peace of mind. Finally, about a week later, after paying out of pocket to see my childhood dentist who my new insurance doesn’t cover (I only saw him because I needed to know everything was ok and I didn’t trust their 2 SECOND LONG exam and thought it was wild how they didn’t answer the phones…) and a trip to medexpress because I wasn’t sure if maybe I needed a different prescription of antibiotic (keep in mind I had to secure babysitting for both of these trips)…. The pain subsided and part of the tooth fell out. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, even though tue first appointment was 4 minutes long, and they didn’t bother to answer the phones while I suffered & I finally showed up for my extraction on time—today. But…. Guess what?! The DOOR WAS LOCKED!!! Wow! I had gotten their little appointment confirmation and confirmed with a “C” the day before, as they say “if you don’t confirm you won’t be seen”, and it definitely went through because the day of the appointment, I got a text reminder for the appointment. Why would they NOT BE THERE when they have a patient to see?! I am a mother of 2, and it is VERY difficult to see to it that I make my appointments and my time is valuable!!! I had to leave my baby with my father to make this appointment and this is just so unacceptable and rude to be honest with you. You should make better arrangements, maybe hire more people, or FIRE the ones you have running the front desk who don’t even care to answer or call people back…it makes you look really flaky and like you don’t even care. This place is truly EXACTLY what the reviews warn you about. I wish I could talk to them to tell them how horrible they are but they don’t answer their phones do they?? Normally I don’t leave reviews but honestly?? It makes me mad.

Honestly, if I could rate lower than 1 star, I would. I have been going to the dentist since I was five years old, I am now 32, I have been to many dental offices in that timeframe, and this one is the WORST that I’ve ever been to. For starters, there is only street parking and they never tell you how long it’s going to be (so be sure to bring $5 worth of quarters). Last time I was there, I was there to have two cavities filled, I waited in the waiting room for well over an hour, they took people back before me (even though I was there first) then when I finally did get back to a room, I sat in the chair, waiting for the doctor for well over 20 minutes. Also, the “rooms” are not in closed, so you can literally walk back and see people being worked on, so there’s no privacy, which I find very unsettling.

Next thing, the dental assistance there are very unprofessional. Not only do they make you wait forever, but they don’t have the common decency to return your phone calls, even if you say it’s an emergency. They will also cancel your appointment at the last minute and think nothing of it. Lastly, when I was recently there to have two cavities filled (One on the top right, one on the bottom right) The dentist didn’t numb my mouth enough, so I felt the top cavity being filled, which was excruciating, and the dentist didn’t even fill the cavity the whole way I know this because I was unable to eat food on the right side due to a lot of pain. Pain that I am still currently going through.

The only reason why I started going to this office is because they are the only few places that takes my insurance, but I honestly don’t have the time or patience to deal with this place, so if that means I have to change my insurance to get a better dentist, then I’ll do that. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT go to this dental office. Very disappointing.

Don't even want to give a 1 start rating. First visit there, they called me back pretty fast, xray tech almost knocked me over with the stand up xray machine. After x-rays I sat in the room for almost an hour waiting for someone to come back. I wanted top dentures but she got real stern with me and said no, were not doing that, were keeping your teeth, and asked what teeth were bothering me. After explaining what teeth (2) gave me the most pain and needed fixed righ away, they had me come back in a week. The apt came, I'm sitting in the chair, they come in and explain what teeth they were fixing, and they weren't even the teeth that needed fixed that hurt the most. So they grab the needle to start numbing and dropped the thumb part on me. . .

as I'm waiting in said chair for my mouth to be numbed, they're calling me out in the waiting room, wondering why I'm late. . . . so I was like do you even have the right patient? While she's drilling my teeth, the drill kept going into my gums, left holes all around the teeth they were working on. . . After getting teeth "fixed" they make me sit back in the waiting room for close to a half hour to get my teeth cleaned, and let me tell you, she was so rough picking at my teeth. Putting the pick up under my gums like crazy.

Here I am 3 weeks later, and I can't even chew or bite down on that side they worked on at all. Sends shooting pain. Mind you, the only time I had pain before going there was when I bit down on one tooth, the tooth they didn't touch. Now it's constant pain on the entire left side. They're horrible there. They laughed at a disabled man after he walked out the door because he was nervous. Highly recommend not going there at all.

If I could leave a lower review I would. When I was in an independent living in 2019 this was my Dentist office and when me and my insurance called Perfect smile I was still in there system and they had an appointment for me. Fast forward to the day of my first appointment I explained my trip to the ER the previous night due to facial numbness and swelling. They got all of they're X-rays and what not and sent me on my way with another appointment.

As I'm on my way to said appointment I get a text message saying the dentist left and I needed to reschedule. So I did, not even a day later they rescheduled again. I show up to this appointment and wait to be called back and when the lady told me what teeth they wanted to pull they were the complete wrong teeth that aren't even there anymore. They were looking at my dental plan from 2019 supposedly.

Whatever the situation is. There is somewhere better to go anywhere honestly, don't put your health to the side like perfect smile will If your near the Greensburg area there are free transportation services don't spend any time at perfect smiles.
