I was very pleased with my experience with Dr Cardenas. She began with a pleasant relaxed ‘Nice to meet you, who are you, what can I help you with” conversation, rather than a jump right into my mouth. She listened attentively to my history and issue, and I am pleased to say identified a cause and plan of treatment.
I commend her chair-side manner and empathy, her professionalism and skill. Highly recommended.

Dr. Cardenas and her staff were so professional and compassionate. I put off dental work for years out of fear based on past experiences. Dr.
Laura and staff treated me with such kindness and understanding! The atmosphere in the office is awesome and they worked with both my dental and supplemental insurance. The whole process was absolutely painless and I'm smiling big and proud again! Thanks to you all from the bottom of my heart. See you at my next cleaning!

I can not in good faith recommend this practice. I actually thought Dr Cardenas herself was helpful and knowledgeable but the roots of her practices problem are more internal within the staff she has chosen to hire. The financial office manager Kelly had no idea how to submit my insurance claims. When I was 40 weeks pregnant she told me the claim was now my responsibility to submit to my insurance.
I gave her every opportunity to connect to my dental insurance agent (even waiting on hold and merging the call for her own convenience) and she became verbally abusive to the agent saying she did not need help. She then chose to belittle the agent and hung up on her mid call. At the end of the day she did in fact need help, and dumped it all on me as the patient to figure out. I offered to discuss this further with Dr Cardenas to keep a good rapport with her despite her office being completely unprofessional but it seems I was not worth her time.
In fact she never once followed up after this event. Now I’m having to reach out to my own insurance and submit all the billing on her behalf which is 100% the providers responsibility when I should be resting and preparing for my new born. I thought perhaps this was a one off experience but after reading other comments from her patients on how she is quick to dismiss her patients, I realize the problem is with her and her staff.
