I was so happy to find a dental office right next door to where I moved to and made an appointment. The office is in a brownstone building and is absolutely gorgeous. My cleaning was intense and thorough and the hygienist was fine. I then was met by the dentist. I have never felt so . . . I don't even know the word . . . "neglectful," "incompetent," "irresponsible. .

. " as when I was examined by this dentist. She made me feel like I had the worst teeth and gums she had ever seen. I am an advocate for twice annual cleanings and all other services needed for oral health and appearance. However I reacted, it prompted a quick apology from the dentist . . . . "I'm sorry, I don't want to make you feel . . . " and I quickly said "You should be (sorry).

" It was completely inappropriate and off putting and I never experienced anything like that. I was referred to two other dentists to discuss gum surgery and have a root canal. I felt like I was at a used car dealer who was trying to sell me more and more. I have never been told that I needed gum surgery but I went and paid for that. The root canal was a good idea and fine. This was all bad enough to have me not return as a patient. However, after this unpleasant experience, things got so out of hand in terms of billing and it was an insurance company glitch. Danita at the office was always pleasant and professional but it was a frustrating experience to say the least. Believe me, it doesn't matter how nice the office looks. It's the care and customer service that matter much more. Yuck!

I have been coming here for a couple years now and I have absolutely no complaints! The staff is so lovely and treat you like a human being. Shout out to Danita for always being so cool! Very important when its the first person you see. Not to mention the office itself is so gorgeous.

Dr. Robert’s is the best he did a wonderful job on my top arch with the bridge and he’s restoring my bottom arch too. I used to be scared of needles in my mouth not no more he has a gentle touch when it comes to that. I appreciate his kindness and his professional spirit. His team is the best too Thank you Dr. Roberts

My wife and son have been coming here for a few years now so I decided I would start coming here as well! I love the front desk team! Very welcoming and informative! From the Dental assistants to the actual Doctor all very friendly and helpful. I got the deep scaling and some fillings today and didn’t feel a thing! They kept asking was I okay and wanted to make sure I was comfortable.

They even allowed me to take a break in between procedures. Just overall a great experience as well as environment as soon as you walk in the door! I would definitely recommend Philly Smiles!
