Love the level of professionalism and the staff was extremely friendly. Dr Hanson and her assistants treated my family like family and it was very enjoyable. My daughter was referred to PHM for treatment for a complication/issue that arose as a result of the repair performed for her bilateral cleft. P.S. Princess Macie said she loves the Princess Doctors and she is excited to see you all again.

Update: Dr. Payne reached out following this post to apologize and review my son's treatment, both past and how he would like to see it proceed. He also acknowledged my experience with the treatment coordinator and promised it would be addressed. After speaking with him at length, I feel confident the treatment plan he has laid out going forward and his commitment to keeping me updated along the way is what's best for my son. We will continue this phase of treatment with their office and I'm hopeful when its completed I can update this post to a 5 star review. Dr.

Payne is very nice however, I feel blindsided by the sudden change in plans. Out of nowhere, as we were pulling an impacted tooth into position I was told a 2nd round of braces would be needed asap and no further treatment could be done until that happened due to a lack of space. We were seeing them monthly for 8 months at this time and at no point did they mention this would be needed or even be a possibility to finish the tooth moving process. For months all we were told was that everything was going good and the tooth was moving in the right direction. We were still under the impression that we were going to continue to pull the tooth up and then back. Instead we were told we needed another round of braces for $3700 asap.

The treatment coordinator I worked with, Leisa, lacked basic customer service skills and compassion. She was incredibly rude from the beginning as she let me sit in the waiting room for over 15min. When she finally came to get me she called my child's name so when we got to her office I stated that my name is actually Jenny to which she curtly replied she has to call the patients name and offered no greeting or introduction beyond that or apology for being late. Her cold demeanor was overwhelmingly present the rest of the visit and the impression given was that she could care less about how blindsided I felt, my questions were an annoyance to her and she wanted nothing from me besides a signature and payment. I left that appointment feeling like nothing but a check to them.

We have 3 children that are patients of Dr. Payne, and we couldn't be happier! All of the staff here are very courteous and very knowledgeable. They use modern technology to ensure that treatment plans are very comprehensive. There is not a cold and clinical feeling about this place - it is a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Added bonus - Dr. Payne wears the best socks! :) I highly recommend Dr. Payne, but I also have many friends that see the other doctors here and are as happy as me.
