As someone who is terrified of going to the dentist, this one's great. They talk you through everything they're doing. They don't do things they don't deem necessary. They're kind and friendly. They're thorough but patient, and they listen to any concerns. Would highly recommend dr. Perez to anyone.

TERRIBLE DENTAL PRACTICE! I would never have set up an appointment at this place if I knew it would cause such a big issue. They lied about doing sedation dentistry, so I had to go somewhere else AFTER they completed my visit. Meanwhile, they billed my insurance incorrectly so now I have to pay out of pocket for the care that I SHOULD HAVE received at Port Dental when I go somewhere else. Honestly the hygienist I had was really nice, and the front desk people are decently understanding as well.

I have severe dental anxiety, and let them know immediately when I made the appointment and they said they were good with that. However, the dentist himself seems professional at first, but when I showed signs of anxiety and started crying, he walked out of the room almost immediately. He seems to care more about acting professional than being professional. I walked out of there knowing I'd never trust them to take care of my dental health.

The billing/insurance is an ongoing issue, and they told me they can't do anything about it now, but will contact me next week to follow up. No matter what they do, it doesn't change the fact that they billed me wrong (so I will have to pay out of pocket to receive the right care somewhere else), and caused emotional distress/financial problems on top of my severe dental anxiety. I really hope something is done to fix this, and they realize the way they treat people contributes to negative views of dentistry.

WOW! Dr Perez is an amazing Dentist! He came highly recommended to me when I was looking for someone I could trust for a crown replacement. The "Corporate" Dentist that I was going to tried to sell me on several procedures that I didn't feel I needed, and I was lucky to be connected with Dr Perez because he was able to CONFIRM that I did not need them. He is extremely kind & gentle, and explained every step of the procedure as he went along. He was able to save my tooth, which was the opposite of what I was told from my previous Dentist.

The Office Staff and Hygienists at Port Dental are great too. They are all super friendly, and you can tell the minute that you walk in the door that everyone enjoys their job - it instantly puts you at ease! I am so thankful to have found Dr Perez and the Port Dental Team, they truly care about their patients and they do a fantastic job. I would HIGHY recommend them!!
