I have an extreme issue with dentists but after meeting Michelle, I gave their office a try. From Kathy at the front desk to Rosa and Micjelle in back assisting Dr Hoffman, the experience was awesome. They even got me to laugh despite a lot of catch up needing to be made.

I came there for a cleaning, the lady at the front desk was extremely nice, however when I got to back they had a needle out telling me I needed to be numbed for a gum cleaning I said no I just want a regular cleaning. Then I told me I noticed a spot on my tooth dentist came in checked it said no big deal it’s just a small discolor then this lady starts to scrap it leaves comes back and says oh no it needs to be extracted cause it shows in the X-ray.

They start clean my teeth I got some lady with this huge hose thing up in my face along with the lady cleaning I asked politely for the one lady to step back then they both proceed to get up leave the room a new lady comes in to clean, all she did was polish my teeth sprayed water all over face and neck didn’t wipe it off then barely rinsed the polish off did do a fluoride treatment or even floss! Worse experience I’ve ever had a dentist office!

Worst experience I ever had at a dentist office. Does not even deserve the one star I'm giving. When I was numbed I had no warning no walk thru on the procedure. He had no professional manners I was noticeable shaking in the chair due to my anxiety breathing fast and not once did he ask if I was ok.

Didn't care that I was in pain when he was sticking the needle in my gums its been a couple days and my gums where the needle went in is continuing to swollen even more. Not only that but every time he went to drill my tooth water was pouring I mean pouring down my face afterwards the nurse said that the hose was broken and he kept going Not caring. I don't see how this company is still in business its they type that only cares about the money and not the patient DO NOT COME HERW FOR YOURSELF OR CHILDREN I'm so traumatized. I

Great dentist and they are very kind thanks Portage Dental Dr. Hoffman is kind and understanding and the office crew are great love it there
