The Dentists here are phenomenal! I used to dread going to the dentist but their gentle approach and clear explanations have changed my perspective. They are incredibly thorough, always take time to address my concerns and genuinely care about their patients comfort. The entire staff is welcoming and friendly. Also, I wanted to make mention of the Hygienist there, Noah.

He did an outstanding job, took his time with me, explained everything in detail, provided support and guidance where needed. Highly recommend. Thank you 😊

The main reason I love this place is because of the staff. So many good ones here! From Laura the office manager and the rest of the front desk staff and then Noah the hygienist… top notch. But I have to pay the most respect and admiration and appreciation to my absolute favourite duo Dr.

Markos and his partner in crime DA Ashley. Love those two! I highly recommend this place because of the people, the way they put your mind at ease and make a not so fun experience a good one.

I had phoned a few dentists around me for a new patient check up and to have my wisdom tooth/ rear gum seen as it has been swollen and bothering me. I had asked 3 other places their cost and availability for general check up (no cleaning). They all quoted me $300+ and couldn’t get me in until end of May or middle of June!! I called Portway and right away it felt more positive as the receptionist was so lovely. I explained I needed a new patient check up and asked the price and it was $100 something and they were able to get me in the next day!! at a time that worked with my work schedule. They were very understanding that I just wanted minimal check up without cleaning and a bunch of xrays for my first visit (I am originally from the UK where dental is free so I wasn’t used to all the extra bits yet, or costs).

Most dentists will hard sell you on these things in Ontario. I had my checkup and everyone was so kind. The dentist was super professional and knew right away that my wisdom tooth was the reason for my gum inflammation. A quick panoramic xray showed us that as well. Everything was kindly explained to me and they seem big on what makes YOU most comfortable.

I am looking forward to my next visit. They understood the cost of dental surgery might be a lot even with benefits, so they allowed me to wait until that procedure is done before I book my next FULL check up/ xray/ cleaning. I am glad I found them :)

A special shoutout to Noah, the hygienist—he is absolutely amazing! His gentle and thorough approach makes every visit a breeze, and he’s fantastic with kids as well.
