The staff here is very nice, but the dentist is pretty rough with her dental work (and I am not generally too sensitive to that sort of thing). My mouth would ache for days, sometimes weeks after my appointments with her so I decided to go elsewhere. I called three times to request my dental records (one time of which the dentist took the phone demanding to know why I changed dentists).

Sixth months later, as far as I know my new dentist has still yet to get my records. Guess I shouldn't hold my breath.

Dr. Elenir Bernardes is excellent! She has been my dentist for over 10 years, and I have never had a bad experience. In addition to Dr. Elenir, her office staff is also very helpful.

This is a really unprofessional dental practice that submits claims to insurance companies and charges dental patients upfront for work that it is unable to complete. I have wasted countless weeks/months dealing with this incompetent practice. Furthermore, I believe the dental assistant is highly incompetent and racist. She thought it was appropriate to point her finger in a patient’s face, seriously???? Usually the issue is poor customer service, but in this case, not only is the issue poor customer service but down right incompetence which is at a level I have never seen before.

Bernardes may very well be competent herself but she relies on an highly incompetent dental assistant which puts her judgement into question and she certainly lacks the expertise, familiarity, and instruments necessary to restore non-titanium implants and for that reason should NOT have taken on a case for which she could not complete the work within a reasonable amount of time after charging patient and submitting insurance claim. Her issues with the vendor are not my problem. She has a duty and responsibility to ensure she has what she needs before scheduling a patient appointment. However, she failed to do this multiple times rather waiting until I am in the chair to figure out she didn’t have the right instruments.

This not only wasted my time but her own. I have been beyond patient with this practice and have given them countless chances and opportunities to get it right mind you at my expense but they have just failed to do so. Beware!!!!!

I have been a patient at this practice for several years (10+) and have always received great service from Dr. Bernardes and her team. Team does a great job with sending reminders about upcoming appointments and will offer to move up appointments when possible.
