I’d highly recommend against using this practice. I’ve had one “cavity” in my life, and it was diagnosed at this office. I use parentheses because I’m now convinced it wasn’t actually an issue. I take good care of my teeth, flossing daily and use an electric toothbrush, and see the dentist every six months. When my last dentist retired, it took me a bit to find another. My first visit here, they claimed to find a cavity I couldn’t see on the X-ray. Trusting the professionals and knowing I hadn’t seen a dentist in a bit, I went through with it. My next visit they said everything looked fine.

Cut to another appointment later. They cancelled one appointment as the dentist was sick, then failed to put me on the cancellation list as they told me they would. Then my next visit six months later they said they didn’t have time to do X-rays and I wasn’t scheduled (as I had been prior but they forgot to update when they cancelled the prior). That meant the following visit I’d been well over a year since I had X-rays, and they again said they didn’t have time to do them (that I’ve found this procedure doesn’t take that much time but what do I know). This dentist (I had a different one every time I went) claimed she found a cavity. Didn’t even say anything to me, just told the hygienist to schedule me for the procedure. I told her I was curious how she could diagnose that when it had been so long since I’d done x-rays. She responded rather defensively, saying, “well sometimes we’re watching them.

” When I said no one had mentioned they were monitoring anything to me, she said, “well sometimes we don’t tell you. ” I left that day, of course without scheduling anything, and never came back. I’ve since had two others dentists (one in the Hamburg area and another after we moved to Ohio) verify this wasn’t a cavity. I really regret recommending this office to friends when I first started as a patient here. For whoever maintains this page, I’d encourage you to have Dr. Dando or other management review my file. You’ll see all the details I described above if you have decent records.

Excellent!! Always dreaded going to the dentist but not anymore. Dr. Dando's entire staff is very friendly and informative. It is a very clean and comfortable environment. In my 50 years of going to dentists I have never had my teeth cleaned and examined as good as at Dr. Dando's office. I would definitely recommend this dental office to anyone.

I saw Dr Hoysock today and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience! The staff at the desk were friendly and explained my visit/balance. Dr Hoysock and assistants explained each step of the process they were doing. They were able have my fillings done same day!
