We have been so happy with our experience with Dr. Song. Our child started with a palate expander at age 7 during the pandemic. Dr. Song laid out a plan for us that would avoid extractions and allow for the natural development of the face. Our kid now has the brightest smile that literally shines from across a room.

What I appreciate most about Dr. Song is the dedication to her craft. She is constantly attending conferences and remaining at the cutting edge of orthodontia. Yet, she doesn't over treat / over prescribe and she doesn't recommend doing pointless things if the body can respond well to the treatment and if the teeth and jaws move well. We avoided extractions and avoided having to invest in various other mouth pieces just by taking it one step at a time. Even though our child had significant crowding, our treatment plan was simple - an upper palate expander, invisalign and then a mouth guard at the end.

This was markedly different than what was recommended to us by 2 other orthodontists we had consulted with in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Getting treatment in Queens was well worth it for us. Moreover, we just started treatment for our next kid even though we now live out of state! The other thing I like about Dr. Song is that she takes a wholistic approach and advises on nutrition, dental care and tongue positioning (mewing). I always appreciate it when another adult teaches my kids best practices.

Dr. Song is incredibly friendly, kind, and professional. She pays great attention to detail and always prioritizes her patients best interests. I just completed my treatment, and I am beyond thrilled with the results! One thing I truly appreciated about her approach is that she doesn’t just focus on straightening teeth—she also considers overall facial balance.

Thanks to her, I now have a perfect smile, a slimmer face, and a more defined jawline. I can’t thank her enough for everything, and I highly recommend Dr. Song for anyone considering orthodontic treatment!

Updated on 3/5/20 My orthodontic treatment is finally reached the end! I started with the palette expander on 7/31/2014. Yes, it was a long treatment because I had underbite, uneven jaw on each side, crowded teeth and everything that you can think of. I was thinking to get the jaw surgery before I met Dr. Song because I can only chew food with a few teeth. Yet, I choose to stick with Dr. Song's treatment. I am very satisfied with the outcome.

My facial structure is now more even and teeth alignment got so much better. I would like to call it as a magic!! It was very time consuming and some additional treatments with extra money was required. However, it was the best investment I've ever made in my life!! Thanks to Dr. Song and her staff! I really appreciate all your work!! I would definitely recommend the Prima Smile Dental to my friends and family!! BTW, she is the only orthotropic orthodontist in Queens!! She deals with the alignment of teeth as well as the facial structure. ‐‐----------------------- The Bayside Prima dental recently moved to new location. The office is very clean and neat. The staff members are very nice.

I've been Dr. Song's patient for 4 years and she is very friendly and caring. The dental chairs have a massage option and I was able to relax during the treatment. They also have parking space and the staff helps with parking as needed. I would definitely recommend the prima dental to my family and friends.

friendly staff and dr. daisy song has always been helpful each appointment i’ve been to! i’ve had tmj problems for years and since going here that pain has gone away over time; through extensive treatment and lifestyle/habitual changes recommended by dr. song. tysm!
