Prosthodontics of Southwest Michigan, also known by its previous designation Prosthodontics-Southwest Mi: Humphries Robert M DDS, MS, is a dedicated prosthodontic dental clinic located at 3801 Glenkerry Ct Suite 1, Portage, MI 49024. The practice has proudly served the residents of Southwest Michigan and surrounding areas since 1988, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to oral health and aesthetics. The clinic is led by Dr. Robert M. Humphries, a highly experienced prosthodontist. Dr. Humphries earned his Bachelor of Science degree and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Michigan in 1985. He further specialized, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) Degree in Prosthodontics in 1988, also from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. During his graduate studies, he also taught at the university. Dr. Humphries is dedicated to continuing education, frequently attending and lecturing at local, national, and international seminars on prosthodontics, particularly implant prosthodontics. His leadership roles include serving as President of the Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society and the Michigan Section of the American College of Prosthodontists, and as Chairman of ethics committees for the Michigan Dental Association and Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society. Dr. Halpin joined the practice in 2024, after working alongside Dr. Humphries previously as a dental assistant.
