I recently visited Provident Dentistry for a routine cleaning and was extremely satisfied with the entire experience. My hygienist, Bridget, was very friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Bridget's gentle touch made the cleaning process comfortable and stress-free. I appreciated how she took the time to explain each step of the cleaning process.
The front desk team was helpful in taking care of everything related to my insurance. The office was very clean and modern, creating a calming and professional atmosphere. I highly recommend Provident Dentistry.

As a first time client with no insurance and not the best teeth I was quickly reassured from the moment I walked in the door. The staff was wonderful and friendly. My Heigentist Mary Beth was awesome. So gentle and knows her stuff! Dr.
Batra was very thorough and a beautiful calm energy that made me feel good. Plus I got a 10% discount for not having insurance! Bonus! I highly recommend Dr. Batra and the staff you won't be sorry!

Provident Dentistry is the best dental office I have ever experienced. Everyone there is welcoming and friendly. It is a bright and happy office My dentist,Dr. Tremonti is second to none. She is a calming, happy, and very confident young dentist. My hygienist, Geanna, is top notch too. Best people. Highly recommended them!!!!

I scheduled an appointment for a regular dental checkup on March 12, and it was my first time visiting Provident Dentistry in Novi. They took multiple X-rays, scans, and photos, and charged my insurance nearly $353 just for the initial exam. Afterward, they insisted I needed a deep cleaning costing around $800, with only $600 covered by insurance and $200 out-of-pocket. Since the deep cleaning was expensive, I requested a normal cleaning instead. They refused, saying my teeth condition only allowed for deep cleaning. Because they wouldn’t do the normal cleaning, my first checkup and cleaning ended up completely wasted, and I feel like I was charged unnecessarily. They should have honored my request for a normal cleaning. My wife had visited this clinic months before for a toothache, but they just referred her to another specialist without providing treatment. She had recommended this clinic for us both to get checked, but now I regret that decision.
What’s even more frustrating is that I had a cleaning just six months earlier from a different dental clinic, and they never recommended a deep cleaning. I have had normal cleanings twice at my old dentist with no issues. The worst part is, after charging my insurance and not providing the cleaning service I needed, they continue to call and send messages asking me to come back for periodic cleanings. If they won’t do regular cleanings, why are they pushing me to schedule more appointments? It feels like they are just focused on taking our money without any genuine care for patients. Honestly, I don’t understand how this place gets so many positive reviews. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend Provident Dentistry Replay to the owners comment: I scheduled my appointment specifically for a regular dental checkup and cleaning, not for any additional or more invasive treatments. A normal cleaning is a routine procedure and would not harm me in any way, yet I was repeatedly pressured to undergo a deep cleaning that I explicitly declined several times. Despite making my preference clear, you continue to send emails and messages urging me to come back for regular cleanings. This persistent follow-up feels misleading and contradicts the treatment refusal, revealing a concerning focus on booking appointments over respecting patients’ choices.
Additionally, the doctor recommended that I remove a healthy back tooth simply because it might cause problems in the future, even though it is currently in good health. I don’t understand this logic. To me, a dentist should try to preserve healthy teeth and only recommend extraction as a last resort after other treatment options have been considered. It’s frustrating to be advised to remove a tooth that is perfectly fine now. Honestly, I can’t help but wonder—if this were another kind of doctor, say an eye specialist or a cardiologist, would they recommend removing perfectly healthy organs just in case? That thought is quite alarming. Regarding the payment, my insurance has already paid on my behalf for the services rendered. If you are truly committed to ethical practices as you claim, then you should return the payment you received from my insurance for services you did not provide, rather than charging me unnecessarily. I do not want to come to your office any more regarding this issue.
