I was visiting from out of state (enjoying some Nando’s) when I had a pretty severe chip on one of my veneers after I accidentally bit a fork, which left my natural tooth exposed. I immediately started calling dentists in the area to see if anyone could get me in that day. The staff at Purely Smiles was phenomenal from the first call. Obviously it’s extremely stressful to deal with a dental emergency far from home, and they got me in office immediately, took x-rays and examined my tooth, then got to work fixing the break. From the tooth chipping to being repaired, the ordeal only lasted about two hours.

And the pricing was MORE than fair. I can’t recommend them enough, if you’re a local I wouldn’t go anywhere else. l included before and after photos to show how perfect the repair was.

I cannot begin to express the depth of gratitude that I have for Dr Farid and her entire staff. Back drop: I recently found myself in a very serious dental emergency. I have been a caregiver for so long, that I had literally not taken time to care for myself and almost ended up in the hospital. Review: Dr Farid made time to see me for xrays and assessment the same day I called. . . at 1pm in the afternoon.

She (and her ENTIRE staff of amazing human beings) treated me like family as they quickly identified the dental issue and created a plan of care. By the end of my emergent visit, I had a visit with an oral surgeon scheduled. Yes - her staff even handled that next step for me right there in the office. I even had a prescription for antibiotics. My current story concludes with a tooth extraction and serious residual infection. Post operatively, Dr Farid made time again in her schedule to consult on the healing process and ensure that it was on track. I cannot thank her enough for taking the time to provide top tier care during a dental crisis.

If it helps you make the decision to choose Dr Farid, I live in Alaska and will be returning for all future care with her. You simply cannot place a dollar value on THIS level of care. If you find you DO have to place a dollar value on dental care as you do not have insurance, do NOT feel like she is not an option for you. Please understand that she is so driven to help people maintain their dental health, she offers several programs to address financial challenges that many of us face.
