Hello, I called NJ Family Care Medicaid and you were wrong. They do not have drs review the X-rays. They go by what the dentist at your practice says for prior authorization. You definitely were wrong saying I needed two root canals and made me irate. I definitely do not need two root canals.

I will continue with Dr. Karey Matthews at Attentive dental care of NJ in Morristown as he took more professional X-rays of my teeth today and said I definitely do not need two root canals. I feel you were very unreliable and unprofessional and this constitutes a malpractice and fraud issue and I feel you were taking advantage of me and my money. I'm grateful I trusted my gut and how my teeth feel and went for a second opinion. -Barbara Arner

I was advised by this dentist that I needed root canals in each of my two front teeth along with caps. I was having pain when I drank orange juice.

I decided to get a second and third opinion and it turns out all I needed was some bonding on them to strengthen the enamel in a couple of spots. Thank God I checked with two other dentists! It saved me a lot of money, pain, and needless anguish! Outrageous!!!! I just noticed someone else had the same experience regarding this dentist and unnecessary root canals!!!!
