You no longer have to dread visiting the dentist! Having grown up in a “dental family” (my father was a dentist and my mother was a hygienist) I can honestly say Dr. Neshat and her team are fantastic! The office is state of the art and the staff is well educated and extremely friendly. You will not find a more dedicated, compassionate, gentle and sophisticated dentist and practice in the area!

First and last visit to Monica Neshat. The dental hygienist was great. But the dentist was the worst. After I mentioned that I was still trying to get the x-rays from the previous dentist, Neshat tried to convince me to take pano x-rays saying that my insurance covers it. I say that I didn't want to be exposed to more radiation if I had the pano done recently.

Neshat dismisses my concerns saying that the digital x-ray has almost no radiation. In fact, the pano x-ray is typically equivalent to a chest x-ray. She is either misinformed or not knowledgeable. Then this dentist tells me nonchalantly that I have bone loss in my jaw causing a receding gum line. No other dentist mentioned this to me and so I ask her what can be done.

She gives a sarcastic "well, I can't surgically give you more bone mass" and tells me that she is trying to be helpful and I am being difficult when I continue to find out if I need some treatment for the bone loss. In short, a rude and not very good dentist. Look elsewhere.

First off, there is a front desk check out receptionist who is incredibly sarcastic and has major tone. As if she was bothered and annoyed by every question of mine. Not a pleasant experience with my appointment either. I've seen Dr. Neshat for years but a gap in-between due to the pandemic. I'm back due to a tooth ache and was scheduled promptly for only the problem tooth as they'rebooked solid until March for a full exam and cleaning.

I saw Dr. Neshat and she said she saw another cavity that was large and that it wasn't the so called tooth I had told them. She recommended a mouth guard and said to come back in March for a treatment plan. I questioned, how about the really big cavity you see? Since I'm already here, why can't we attend to the tooth in need? She brushed me off and said March is fine. She even took a look at the rest of teeth with judgment (in how she handled my mouth) and said you need a cleaning and come back. I even disclosed my past traumas and how hard it is for me to be at the dentist.

She didn't respond or show empathy she simply said to buy and OTC mouth guard bc I might be clinching my teeth at night and that's why I have pain in that one tooth. I'll be canceling the rest of my appointments and I will not be returning! Such inhumane appr all around. Please have more empathy, patience, and don't dismiss issues as if my appointment is a bother for both the dentist and the reception staff.

Dr. Neshat is fantastic! She is kind, knowledgeable and skilled. Her team is friendly and accommodating and it makes going to the dentist painless. Highly recommend!
