I have been going to Dr. Gruntz for about 30 years now. He is one of a kind, Intelligent, knowledgeable, kind, personable and he enjoys his profession.

He explains everything in detail, in ways I could understand. He is most reasonable for top quality care and performance and as no apple falls very far from it's tree, his son Dr. Gruntz (Jr) is becoming just as good if not better! I have the utmost respect and regards for them, and if you meet them, you will too!

After a first visit with a dentist in Arlington who told me that I had 5 cavities (past history of 1 cavity total as a 30+ year old) that needed to be filled right way, I turned to the nextdoor app for reputable dentist recommendations. Arlington residents resoundingly recommended the Gruntz practice, so I called in a panic to request a second opinion. Dr.

Gruntz (Jr) was so reassuring over the phone and he got me in right away for a second opinion. He could've easily agreed with the first dentist and recommended over $1,000 worth of work, instead he was totally honest and upfront, reassuring me that I had 1 spot that could use a filling at some point, but it was by no means an emergency. His bedside manner was excellent and I received good care.

I ultimately had him fill the spot in question and the out of pocket cost (I do not have insurance) for the filling was reasonable. I'm confident I found a dentist who I trust to provide competent yet conservative care- I also love the fact that this is a father and son-owned practice! Thanks Dr. Gruntz!
