STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE. They are sneaky in what they do. As prevously stated do not dare QUESTION them about any billing. They dropped us without telling our family thus leaving my husband without his teeth that had fell out!!!! Horrible. At least inform patients that they will no longer be accepted in practice so that they can have time to research new professional qualified dentists.

Once, a good dentistry has been consumed by greed. A very personal dental practice has become big and bloated and very often they attempt to upsell you on needless procedures. Very disheartening. In addition, they are dropping long time patients because patients dental plans are not making Ritter enough money . All very sad.

I've been a patient here since he opened the first office in massapequa. Once the new office opened and there were other dentists on staff, I never knew who I would be seeing, and there were many. Soon After my last visit, coincidentally a tooth on the other side cracked. I called to explain and was given an appointment. A day or two before the appointment his staff sent me a treatment plan for seventeen hundred dollars, which would have been fine except for the fact that the treatment plan showed the wrong tooth. I called and spoke to a staff member who said they would correct it. .

. which they never did. When I called to cancel I was asked why, and I explained that it seemed to me I was going to be charged that fee no matter what tooth it was. Which would have been fine, but I prefer a dentist that actually examines me beforehand, and I may have some say in what is being planned. (I. e root canal, extraction and implant might have been options?).
