Money, money, money, any way they can get it. Missed an appointment? Deep cleaning. Had flu? Deep Cleaning. We forgot to call you? Deep cleaning. Have you looked at charts we have put on the walls for deep cleaning? No? Okay, deep cleaning. I’ve never had a dentist just read my profile like chat GPT and give me such a generic answer.

Nobody invests in understanding the clients because, duh, it’s Riverdale and there’s money. By the way, they made me sign a form for deep cleaning in September. Still waiting for them to schedule an appointment. Already switched to a better dental practice.

BEWARE! Get a second opinion if you are having doubts about this office!! The first red flag was the high staff turnover, leading to inconsistent care and conflicting opinions about my treatment. One dentist gave me a filling on a wisdom tooth that should have been extracted, causing unbearable pain. Another warned about an urgent tooth issue that magically disappeared months later with no treatment. A third dentist suggested replacing a metal filling with no prior issues, only for the fourth dentist to express confusion about the tooth needing work done. This lack of coordination and miscommunication was alarming.

After a wisdom tooth extraction, this office proposed an expensive follow-up procedure. A second opinion from another dental office saved me more than 75% of the cost and deemed the original proposed follow up unnecessary. I do not trust this office and advise others to stay away. They seem to be driven by making as much money as possible on you.

So this used to be the best place. People were nice, well organized; the office team was careful about billing and insurance. It was the standard dentist model but nice people. Anyway now it’s a been bought out and it’s basically just temp workers. Each day different people are assigned. So someone will call you to move your appointment (for tomorrow) but the next day when you come it’s totally different people. I was called to move my appointment and then I still had to sit around for 45 minutes after the new appointment because they didn’t have anyone.

Eventually went home. Another time the hygienist never came but the office staff just kept saying “sorry were delayed”. Eventually it came out the gig work just never turned up. I should say the people are nice and I haven’t had any medical issues. When they do have people they can do things like clean teeth. But it's very weird that the temp staff feel like it's their job to lie to you. Like they won't say "oh there's nobody to see you I don't know when we'll have someone available".

They really slow roll the whole thing, "oh it's just a few more minutes" "the doctor is with another patient". Like they moved me into a room after I'd been waiting for a while, but nobody ever came. It’s just the sort of late stage capitalism where there is no human management. They've hollowed it out until it's someone with a spreadsheet in a central office and gig works who are there for the day and everyone's kind of forgotten it's a place where people go to get medical care. They just think that it just magically makes money.

I have had a great experience. The team is super nice, professional, and kind. MADELYN, DONIKA, and LEO are great and always help me feel at ease and explain everything thoroughly. Of course, Dr. Erick has also been attentive and patient. So far, it has been a great experience. Highly recommended 👌
