The first time I went to Dr. Renke, I was MORE than pleased! That’s why I didn’t hesitate to return. HOWEVER, this time, knowing I had to have more teeth pulled and having had such a great experience the first time, I had NO hesitation going back. THIS WAS NOT A GOID EXPERIENCE!!!! I need to have laughing gas to get through any dental procedure.

When I got into the chair, we started the gas. Then came the shots to deaden the area. I kept saying I’m NOT UNDER! However, they said just take deep breaths. This did NOT help! Since I’ve used this gas before both at this doctor and at my regular dentist, I KNOW what it feels like and I WAS NOT UNDER!!! I heard everything going on.

Yes, I was deadened and didn’t actually feel the teeth being removed. BUT I didn’t want to know anything going on!!!! NOT HAPPY WITH THIS!!!! I can only pray I never have to have any more procedures like this done……. EVER!!! And IF i do, I hope I don’t have to use this doctor!!!!! He didn’t listen to my concerns AT ALL!!! They may have turned up the gas, however, it did NOT come to me! I sincerely hope they look at their equipment before someone else is put through the same thing I was!!!!!

My other half has had work done, and said he was great. When it was my turn, I was referred with a broken molar that needed to be addressed because it was causing ear pain. My dentist had said to have them call him and he would give the details. The front desk was put out because I didn't know the tooth number, and then tells me it will be 6 weeks before I can get in, and suggested I go somewhere else, to see if my dentist works with any other surgeons. So my rating is because the front desk girls are horrible. Lazy, rude, and need a new profession.

The other half didn't care for their attitude either his first visit. It's like they try and chase away the new patients because when he went back, they were nicer. . . I don't know, but what kind of office doesn't accommodate emergencies? A dentist who cares nothing about his patients I guess

Renke was not very professional when I needed to go to him for 2 extractions. He spoke to me, explaining whatever, he talked so fast, treating me like a 2 year old. He does not care about the comfort of his patients as he pushed a needle into my gums making me just about come up off the chair? There were two people holding me down. It hurt so bad I was crying and the “gas” he said he was giving me was nothing. I was appalled at his behavior. I was not under and he never asked if I was.

My dentist numbs my gums topically then he takes about 20-25 seconds to plunge the needle of numbing agent to ALL his patients, into the gum area. Renke can’t take 20 it so his patients don’t feel that painful injection? Shame on you Renke. You should take much better care of your patients, instead of treating them like an animal. I will be going elsewhere for implants. Debra McDonald
