Hands down best experience I have ever had! I’m the type of person that would rather do about anything before going to the dentist. Unfortunately, I had no choice. I had an infected tooth that caused my face to swell up to a softball. I was nervous as can be but as soon as I walked in, my nerves began to fade. The receptionist was very kind and sweet. They got me in right away (called at 10am, in by noon). I let the assistant, Sally know my fears of the dentist. She was so kind and assured me not to worry.

She did not let me down!! I appreciated that greatly! You go Sally!! Now on to Dr. Yihan. . her attention to my needs and making sure to get in and get out was a 20/10! She got in there and I didn’t feel a thing!! She made sure I was numb enough before going in. Again, appreciate that so much! Also, shout out to my boy Nick, who also works there. . he assured me I was in good hands and he didn’t disappoint! Appreciate everyone!!

New patient—came for insurance reasons and location to my home for oral surgery. Very happy with overall experience from consultation, expense breakdown, what to expect before and after. Dr Gala personally followed up with me via text the next day to see how I was doing; plus office called as well after 3 days.

Office is clean and bright with welcoming staff. Only thing I’d recommend is patient sunglasses for protection from bright overhead exam light, sunshine from window, procedure spraying.

Meta Puck Luck

I’m 63 and was hit hard in the mouth when I was about 10. I should be thankful the front teeth lasted till a year ago, but calcium slowly filled in and discolored where the nerve was receding. Accordingly, I have never had a nice normal smile, and when those teeth finally died it’s amazing how quickly bacteria sweeps in and gum disease had spread through my whole mouth when I finally was referred to Dr. Yihan. This woman is a life-saver.

Oral infection like I had can even threaten your heart. I went through a year of having multiple teeth pulled, including the big molars and four top front; having major bone grafts and heavy antibiotics; 2 implants drilled into skull, and crowns/bridge. Would never have gotten through it without Dr. Yihan! She has the perfect combination of sincere gentle caring, while thoroughly informing you on all aspects of treatment, and when it’s time for surgery…a high-energy “Let’s go” efficiency, with the utmost competence! I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE RESULTS, both cosmetically and functionally!!!! Her staff is wonderful too, and the office/equipment/cleanliness…. TOP NOTCH.

I appreciated that they spent time educating me about insurance. This is a Delta Dental office, and you should consider the benefits of adding a Delta policy to your coverage not just for enhanced payment potential, but for limits on the cost of the procedures.

I was referred here by my dentist because he suspected I would benefit from a gum graft. I was absolutely petrified because I had heard how awful a gum graft could be. From the first phone call to schedule a consultation, I was met with the greatest compassion and empathy from the staff at Rochester Periodontics. I was so scared of the procedure and everyone was so gracious with me. Dr. Yihan did a wonderful job of explaining why the gum graft could be helpful and why my gums were thin.

She was never condescending and never pressured me. She and her staff were very understanding of my anxiety and supported me by outlining my options for sedation and providing excellent tips for recovery. Ultimately, I ended up going ahead with the gum graft and it went amazing. It wasn't anywhere near as painful as I expected and it looks great! I will always go to Dr. Yihan for my periodontic or implant needs!
