I love the doctor but they clearly need a friendlier front desk lady. Was a few minutes late and had to hear her rudely tell me about how I was 15 minutes late. I told her I thought they had a 15 minute late policy like most places and she was like our appointments are 30 minutes long.
Politely told her I was sorry as I was not aware of that either. Then I had to listen to her tell every patient and staff that walked in that I was 15 minutes late!!! Rude and no confidentiality thanks!!! Smh

I was in search of a dentist for my 9 year old who had an abscessed tooth. Dr Ronconi's office told me to go to his pediatricians office and get an antibiotic. They then said they could schedule him in 3 weeks. I got in to the urgent care and got him an antibiotics and urgent care asked why the wouldn't get me in sooner to avoid another infection after the prescription was through. They told me to call and see if we could reschedule earlier. They did have a cancellation in a week.
I scheduled it and then I received a call from a wonderful place called Shadow Creek Pediatric Dentist in Waukee. They took ALL FOUR of my children in the next day as new patients. They then, had me come the following day to have my son's tooth pulled. They were WONDERFUL! They went over an above and made me feel so comfortable. I called Dr. Ronconi's office to tell them that I needed to cancel and that his tooth was extracted on this day.
The receptionist was not happy that I was cancelling and said she'd remove me from their office records for future visits. I shared that I wanted to leave on good terms. She said she would have to check with her office manager to see if that's doable!!! I called TWO days prior to our appointment to let them know this information. In my option, if they had the childs best interest at heart, they would have been glad to have heard that he got the problem fixed, NOT be so absorbed with how a cancellation would effect their day. I'm glad I saw this PRIOR to us making it through the front door! We were blessed to avoid further nonsense. Dont go!!

Dental and staff are superb! Dr. Ronconi himself is an tremendously excellent dentist. Morning reception lady is the rudest staff I've ever dealt with. After getting a head cold and correctly assuming the staff wouldn't want me sneezing and coughing all over them, I called to reschedule my appt.
Rude Receptionist said "You're just now calling us?" To which I replied, "I just came down with the cold this morning. How was I supposed to call yesterday?" Rude Receptionist then gave me the third degree about this being a failed appt, and if I had another one, they would take my entire family off of their client list unless I paid them a fee (bribe). It will be a good day when she finally quits or is fired.

Had seen all the reviews about poor office workers. I figured I wouldn't have any issues if I showed up to the appointment on time. First time I called them I experienced an unprofessional interaction. I don't even have a reference of how the dentist is himself.
Decided not to set up an appointment after the first phone call. Very different experience from the previous dental office I've been going to for years.
