Detailed Introduction

Roseman Dental is the official clinical practice of Roseman University's College of Dental Medicine, serving communities in South Jordan, Utah, and various locations in Nevada, including Henderson and Summerlin. Established with a core mission to improve public oral health, with a specific focus on underserved populations in Utah, Nevada, and the Intermountain West, Roseman Dental stands out for its commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate, and affordable dental care. The unique model of Roseman Dental integrates patient care with dental education. Licensed dental residents and students, under the direct supervision of highly qualified, board-certified, or board-eligible faculty dentists, provide comprehensive dental services. This innovative approach allows patients to receive exceptional care at costs typically lower than traditional dental offices, while simultaneously providing invaluable hands-on experience for aspiring dental professionals. Roseman Dental offers a broad spectrum of dental services for patients of all ages, including children (ages 4+), teens, adults, and seniors. Their services encompass general dentistry, preventative care (such as cleanings and X-rays), and more advanced procedures. The clinics are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring patients have access to the latest advancements in dental treatment. A notable specialization includes compassionate oral healthcare for children and their families impacted by cancer or other systemic illnesses, particularly at their Summerlin, Nevada, location. Beyond clinical services, Roseman Dental is deeply involved in community outreach. Students and faculty participate in various initiatives to provide free or low-cost dental screenings, cleanings, and restorative care to vulnerable populations, including refugees, individuals experiencing homelessness, and children from low-income families. Programs like "Give New Utahns a Smile" and "Back to School Brush-Up™" exemplify their dedication to social responsibility and addressing oral health disparities. The institution's commitment to excellence extends to its educational philosophy, which includes a team-based clinical education model and a three-year Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program. This accelerated and integrated curriculum prepares graduates not only with strong clinical skills but also with a deep understanding of patient-centered care and community engagement. Roseman Dental's overarching goal is to shape compassionate and competent healthcare providers who will become leaders in their communities and the dental profession.

I waited a year to write this review, I am not the person to write negative things, much less complain. But unfortunately this situation was life or death, a while ago my orthodontist suggested that I remove my wisdom teeth to be able to put on braces, which led me to this horrible place. I decided to do it with Roseman dentists, they removed both my wisdom teeth on the same day. They were two students about to graduate which is fine, the doctor who was “obsessed” with them spent 5 minutes explaining what they were going to do and then left me alone with two students extracting my wisdom teeth. (I remember it was a girl who wears a headscarf and the other was a boy) everything went very quickly that day I remember that I didn't feel pain other than when they gave the anesthesia, but I did notice something different the next day on my face.

It was bigger than normal. I did know that there was going to be some kind of inflammation, but not with that swelling and not with that pain that I couldn't even open my mouth to drink water with a straw. I returned with this pain crying back to the hospital. place where they extracted my wisdom teeth and the doctor told me that everything was “totally normal”that nothing was happening, that "it was normal. " I remember that that same day at night I had to go to the hospital in an emergency because I couldn't stand the pain, the doctors did x-rays on me.

X and they examined everything and it turns out that the infection was going to my head and that is why it was the reason for what I no longer saw for one eye the infection was so great that they had to operate emergency to drain the whole flow that I had accumulated because in a matter of 24 hours a huge infection was created because it turns out that the doctors or students had left a piece of tooth in my gums, without caring about anything, not even the result of all this, I was in the hospital for 7 days, My bill was more than 16 thousand because I had to have surgery and stay under observation until I recovered, unfortunately cheap is expensive!! I do not recommend this place at all, no matter how cheap it is. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL and it is not fair that they continue doing this to people who do not have the resources to pay. It is not fair that they did this to me since I returned to this place and they checked me and still they couldn't help me, This place deserves to be closed and sued for situations like this! I least I want my money back

I think its a good option to reduce expenses on dental work. Definitely clean and professors appear to check and advise most of the work. In my case the staff hear brought about 5 more issues to my attention that a previous dentist overlooked.

My experience at this school was amazing, I was super nervous to come to a school but had no other options as my insurance lapsed and I needed a cost effective visit for a dental emergency. Kendall and Parker on team 1 were amazing, they were extremely professional they took such great care of me, and made me comfortable being in a school setting. They answered all my questions, took all of my concerns into consideration and came up with a plan that would be cost effective in the long run and went above and beyond to find a solution to save my tooth.

The would highly recommend this school to anyone in need of cost effective care. 10/10 service

I got my 2nd set of dentures made here. They told me the new dentures would be great. They are not. The teeth are huge and do not fit my mouth. I went back to let them know I needed help. The dentist only made it worse. Now both the upper and lowers fit terrible. I cannot eat now and I have lost a dangerous amount of weight.

My doctor and I feel the bad denture fit have a direct connection to my weight loss. I cannot bite anything and I'm pretty much a soup or mashed potato diet for the rest of my life. I am so depressed and I never smile without covering my teeth. I wish I had just kept my rotting teeth, they were less painful than these crappy dentures. Beware. Save up money if you have to but do not get your dentures made by students. Don't be a guinea pig.
