I had my dental appointment today, and I'm very pleased with the. The cleaning was quick and gentle, and I didn't feel any discomfort at all. The office was clean and my mind was at ease. Called me 5 minutes before my appointment to tell me they need to reschedule it. Not one call was made to me before then, even had a text message confirming on the day of that I would be there. So since I was a “new patient” and the person who I was scheduled with called off they weren’t able to see me, which would have been okay if they gave me a reasonable time for a heads up. But FIVE minutes before, and me pulling into the parking lot is absolutely ridiculous.

Take better care of your patients if you want to KEEP your patients and have new ones coming in. Would give 0 stars if I could.

I have been going to this dentist for about four years but will be transferring care to another dentist. The office staff at Royal Oak Dental are completely inept. Not only did I have to wait 45 minutes for an appointment to get a crown placed, but the office staff forgot to see if my crown was even delivered from the lab in the first place. So, I waited for nothing and now I need to go back at a later date when my crown is actually ready and available at the office.

One staff member didn’t even apologize for the delay. She just said that root canals (of the person whose appointment was before mine) take time and I need to wait longer. In past visits the desk staff have been completely clueless and not known how to take a credit card payment, schedule an appointment, or print a simple service receipt for reimbursement purposes. On multiple occasions I have also had to stand by for 10-15 minutes while the receptionist figures out how my insurance plan works.

Their reception space is also the dirtiest and most cluttered area I have ever seen in any doctor’s office so it’s no wonder they can’t manage their time or deliveries responsibly. The dentist and hygienist are friendly but the incompetent reception staff make for a miserable experience.

I must say that this is one of the best dentists office, I've ever been to. Everyone was so nice and friendly easy to talk to very well coming. I look forward to going back 😁 I give them a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
