I have been a patient at this practice for over a decade and never had any complaints under Dr. LaFoca's care. However, since Dr. Fruhan took over while Dr. LaFoca is away in Florida, the quality of care has significantly deteriorated. I had a root canal done by Dr. Fruhan in February, and it has been a nightmare ever since. I've experienced constant pain and recurrent infections, causing severe swelling and pressure in my face. The pain has been so debilitating that I lost my job due to frequent absences. Despite multiple visits, my concerns were consistently dismissed. Dr.
Fruhan's conduct has been incredibly unprofessional. He has a heavy hand and has been outright rude during my appointments, even admitting to being a misogynist in an appology to his assistant Jessie. As a female patient, this made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. His refusal to acknowledge or address my pain is unacceptable. I've now had six visits since the root canal, and each time I've left the office sobbing due to the pain. Dr. Fruhan repeatedly tells me that I need to adjust and that my other teeth are sensitive, completely ignoring the pulsing infection in my jaw. This level of neglect is beyond unacceptable. Additionally, when I sought a second opinion, the other dentist not only failed to provide a proper diagnosis but also slandered Dr. Fruhan's practice and personal life, further adding to my distress. As a government worker, I find this behavior completely unacceptable, especially in the medical field where patient care and respect should be paramount.
Dr. Fruhan has thrown out the sense of safety and accommodation I once felt at this practice. The practice's standards have plummeted under Dr. Fruhan's management. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and have their concerns taken seriously. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience. I hope Dr. LaFoca returns soon to restore the quality and reputation of this as well as save his pratice.

Dr Fruehan essentially forced me to have him do a root canal in June 2024 even though i stated I wanted an extraction several times, but my pleas were ignored(I assume for a bigger pay out). It was fine for 9 months. I was not able to afford to get the crown on in those 9 months. I started getting off and on pain in that tooth so I called. The receptionist berated me for not having the $400 for the crown saved up but she said I could come in for the build up which would only cost $81. I went in for the build up on 3/14/25 with no novacaine and had to pay $131.
Next day(Sat) I was in excruciating pain called and left a message with no return call. Finally Sun I went to ER w/ 102 fever and was told I had staph infection in roots and on Mon I had to have that tooth pulled. No call back from staff until I called Tue at 11am to cancel the crown appt and to explain what had happened. Dr F called me 2 hrs later to apologize and state he saw no infection during the appt and that he would call me fri to see how I'm doing and get a treatment plan to "make me whole". Funny enough, I received no call on that fri and again I had to call them on Tue to which they wanted me to come in for scans. I told them I never wanted this root canal to begin with and I am not having this dentist nor anyone with Santo Lafoca touch my mouth again.
If I could give this office -10 stars I would. Stay away from this office and this Dr. There's even more to this story with "edited" dental records from my build up appt and jumping through hoops trying to get my own records until I said the word HIPPAA on top of it they over charged me by $25 for the app. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE.

Dr. LaFoca and staff are amazing. From day one you felt welcomed. I needed a root canal and was so comfortable and put at ease thru the whole procedure I almost dozed off.

I had a great experience. Office staff was great. Suzie who did my x rays and cleaning really put my mind at ease. Dr was super nice and didn't make me feel bad about not being consistent with previous dental care. I highly recommend. I will definitely be going back and being consistent with care. I totally trust them with the upcoming procedures I need.
