I was so excited about school smiles going to my son's school and us being able to pay a very inexpensive fee out of pocket. Checked all the boxes of being hassle free and affordable. But then they didn't get my child seen. So of course I do my due diligence and call and email to find out what happened. I will always give the benefit of the doubt.
Calling led me to full voicemail boxes and no one returning my call. I found an email address and again informed of the situation and was told that it was being looked into and no information. Currently requesting a refund and hoping it is processed back to me. This would not be at 1 star if there was actual communication happening but here we are.

Great company that schedules exams and treatments for the kids by coordinating dental days with the school nurse. Very professional and saves parents from needing to take a day off work.

We had a wonderful experience with School Smiles. Nicole, the Patient Coordinator, was very responsive to phone calls and emails. She answered all of my questions about how the program works and what to expect. I did not want to consent to certain procedures if they were needed and the process for adding notes to my file was simple.
I actually went to the school the day the dentist arrived and both the technician and dentist were extremely kind. They made my children feel comfortable and safe. I self-paid for the exam and it was an easy phone call. Thank you, School Smiles! You made going to the dentist easy and affordable for our family!

I have no clue what this programs deal is but I'm not sure of how legitimate it is. My son was scheduled to be seen. I received updates saying he was being seen. He got home from school saying he wasn't seen nor did they make any type of announcement of them coming. I received a text shortly from Smiles saying my child wasn't seen because they either ran out of time or my child was absent? I contacted the school because this seemed very off only to be told by the school secretary they were never scheduled to come to his school at all.
They had no idea what this company was doing either. When I told customer service they didn't address anything about them but even being there to begin with. So save your time.
