Detailed Introduction

Sea Mar Aberdeen Dental Clinic is a vital part of Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a large, community-based non-profit organization established in 1978. Committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational, and cultural services, Sea Mar specializes in serving diverse communities, particularly Latinos, across Washington state. The Aberdeen Dental Clinic, located at 1813 Sumner Ave, Aberdeen, WA, operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The clinic offers a wide array of dental services for both children and adults. These include essential oral exams and consultations, oral screenings for infants and young children, and comprehensive oral health education to promote good hygiene. For preventive care, they provide services such as x-rays, cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments. The clinic also handles adult emergency dental care and offers regular appointments for routine and preventive adult dental care, including restorations ("fillings"), scaling, composites, and extractions. Consultations for root canals are also available. As a community health center, Sea Mar Aberdeen Dental Clinic is dedicated to accessibility. They serve individuals of any age, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation, and do so regardless of income, occupation, gender, immigration status, or citizenship status. Sea Mar accepts most insurance plans, including Medicaid, and offers a sliding fee scale discount for eligible patients based on household size and annual income, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent access to necessary care. Many staff members are bilingual, further enhancing their ability to serve diverse populations. The Aberdeen Dental Clinic is co-located with other Sea Mar services at the Sumner Avenue address, including a medical clinic, behavioral health clinic, and pharmacy, allowing for integrated and holistic patient care.

Most all fillings fell out within a year. The only one that didn’t is terribly uneven and the wrong color. They also stuck something so far under my gums that my gums are peeling away in my front bottom teeth. I now worry about them falling out. Never coming back.

Only reason for 1 star is because the receptionists are very unfriendly (the way they talked to me and other people it gave me bad vibes) Everyone else seemed nice. Also the lady down stairs doing screening was very rude to a family that came in that didn’t speak English yelling at them treating the lady like she was dumb. The lady i had do xrays on my teeth was very nice and so was everyone else in the back.

Just those receptionist and screening lady.

They said they couldn't fill my cavity until my teeth had been cleaned and set me up with an appointment for a cleaning. The hygienist must have been in the top of her class at the Marquis de Sade school of oral torture. She scraped the enamel off one quadrant of my teeth. When the novacain wore off, I was in agony for days.

She didn't clean the tooth that needed the filling. I will never go there again as long as I have teeth to clean. I guess I will wait for them to fall out then go in for dentures when it is safe.

I went here when i was about 14, 13 cant remember and ever since then my mullers have been super sensitive from the fillings. I'm 25 now. . i cant drink cold water or eat ice cream anymore cause of the pain. The fillings looked scuffed. it looks like i got a bunch of cavity's. I'm almost 100% positive none the teeth i had fillings in needed them.

I was originally suppose to get a tooth pulled. But instead he did 8 fillings in the span of 6 months. by that time the tooth i needed pulling was so badly infected i needed medicine to kill it so they could pull it. the infection was making the Novocain not work. I've had problems ever since. Don't go here.
