Always kind people and good place. Especially if you are taking kids. Tooth is a sensitive issue for many of us. Shircks makes sure it’s always a pleasant visit. The braces process we have started is going really smooth. They work with u to give good referrals to other places whxih are as good and they take care of it. A very friendly and kind staff all in all.

Based on our past experience we have seen dentists trying to sell by scaring patients for the things that can wait for later. We really loved Dr.Sue providing her honest evaluation on Ridhi that she can wait for the treatment otherwise if she had it now instead may have to have it again in future. Ridhi was so happy that she didn’t get the braces today 😁

I thought the staff were nice, helpful, and efficient. The office is clean. However, we recently moved to Columbus and are used to a very different setting. Our previous orthodontist has an open space with dental chairs like this office, but the chairs all overlook a garden and the room is vaulted with high windows. It makes it feel open and spacious and the sound is minimal. This office has chairs all crammed into a windowless room that look at a wall. The sound is very loud, bounces off the walls, and you can hear what people are saying to their patients on the far side of the room. If you have any issues with noise like my son does, this is not a low stimuli zone.

I also was not happy with the care we received from the orthodontist. She did not provide us with a treatment plan and gave very vague info on a proposed plan of care. When I asked for a treatment plan, she said she did not have one but could mail one to me. I never received a plan. In contrast with our former orthodontist, Shirck's technology is not up to date. The doctor solely showed me 2D images without any digital rendering of the plan. She also gave vague steps and timeline. Our previous orthodontist had 3D views and showed what the plan would look like at every step of the way including how long it would take.

If you are looking for a more thorough plan of care with the latest technology and a doctor who provides a succinct plan and follows through, I would suggest another office. We now may make the 1. 5 drive back to our old orthodontist due to this disappointing and incomplete visit. Edit: In reply to the business' comment, this review is not 2 stars because of aesthetics. I was wholly unimpressed and disappointed with the provider. If the provider was knowledgeable, proficient, and able to provide a proper care plan, I would have given the office 4/5 stars with only 1 star deduction for poor office planning and sound control.
