Took son to take care of cavities his fillings was chipped so instead of wanting to help they refereed me else where. In the same appointment they told me that they check the rest of the teeth and that they were fine. At the other dentist they found out that he had an infection and well I called to complain they said they never check the rest of the his teeth even though they told me they did.

Due to void they don't allow parents to go with kids so how are we suppose to see what's being done at the other dentist I went I was allowed to go in and the actual dentist explained everything to me at silva they send untrained assistance only.

My 6 year old received a cap, by the next visit there was an infection because they didn't clean properly. Then Silva Dental told us they didn't do the work. Finally, they said "they found the record that they did the work and missed that they needed to pull 2 more teeth now". I usually don't leave reviews but this place is very unorganized, and obviously not that good at what they do.

I've been coming to Silva for atleast 6 yrs now, probably more, and they've always been great with me and my son. Even when my insurance went out of network, I was still able to see them and they figured out the payments. Dr Latrero is a doll! She's so personable and sweet and always explains everything to me. She remembers small details. Brenda the hygenist, she's super sweet and nice and always gentle.

The front desk girls have always been professional & courteous. I'll be bringing my 3 yr old daughter to this office very soon. Dr Latrero says i should bring her in and just let her get a feel for the office and go with the motions. Great office!

Usually, I have a pretty good experience here, however whenever I call or go in the attendant infront is always extremely rude. I know it’s always the same attendant because I recognize her voice and face. When I call for appointments, she talks to me like I’m stupid for calling and an inconvenience to talk to and doesn’t answer relevant questions. Most recently I went in for teeth extraction, on the phone I had asked for a quote but she hung up on me while I was asking. This made me feel like I shouldn’t/couldn’t call back for a quote as it seems to be an inconvenience for her.

While I know I can’t get an exact quote, my x-rays and notes are on file, so even an estimation would have been helpful. When I went into the office I gave her my name and she did not believe I had an appointment and almost dismissed me until I showed her my text confirmation. I ended up not getting my teeth extracted as I hadn’t budgeted correctly, but that could have all been avoided if she had taken a minute to answer my questions over the phone when I made the appointment . Also while on my way out after not getting a procedure they then explained how procedures and medication work (if I get two procedures on different dates I need two prescriptions for pain meds… duh), which I did not ask for nor where relevant. Overall it was hostile experience from calling for an appointment to the moment I left.

When I did ask for clarification on pricing they became even more hostile after I told them that I didn’t correctly budget for all the procedures I need done. Also, on my way out they made me sign that they explained pricing to my satisfaction which I signed underdress as they were hostile. They told me my insurance only covers 50%, when I know it covers 80% as it did for my other family members who have had similar procedures, leaving my total to be over $600, while I was expecting $300 max. I have been trying to take my teeth out for the past year and I’m afraid further delays will eventually cause further complications.
