Dont even want 1 star. They discriminate based on your general dentist. If you go somewhere they don't like they will not see you. Like a bunch of high school kids with petty drama. Smh so unprofessional! Based off other reviews I'm really glad they didn't take me.

News flash, people dont handpick their healthcare providers. They pick based off their insurance. Dont take it out on potential clients because you have some beef with another practice. Grow up

Same practice easton pa I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Dr. Sylvaggio Endodontics due to their fraudulent billing practices and lack of professionalism. I have always maintained a great relationship with this practice, always paid my balance in full upon completion of services, and never left with an outstanding bill. However, they have now placed a fraudulent debt on my credit report for a "consultation" that never took place. Undisputable Facts: 1. I Have Always Paid in Full – Even on the day in question, despite receiving no dental work, I still paid my balance in full for an X-ray before leaving. 2. No Consultation Took Place – I scheduled an appointment for a Root Canal retreatment, not a consultation. When I arrived, the doctor had no idea which tooth needed treatment and had to call my general dentist multiple times. If a consultation had occurred, how could the doctor be unaware of the treatment plan? 3. Excessive & Unnecessary X-Rays – Due to their confusion, multiple X-rays were taken.

Dr. Swati Malholtra personally instructed the front desk to remove one X-ray charge at checkout, acknowledging it was unnecessary. 4. Insurance Fraud Attempt – Despite my visit only consisting of X-rays, they attempted to bill my insurance for a "consultation" that never happened. When insurance didn’t cover it, they tried to charge me directly. 5. Pattern of Overcharging Patients – This office has previously overcharged me more than $650 for past procedures, which they later had to refund. This shows a pattern of improper billing. 6. Unprofessional Conduct – Dr. Swati Malholtra, frustrated at her own lack of preparedness, told me, "I’ll work on whatever tooth you want," proving that no structured consultation ever took place.

7. Receptionist Confirmed No Outstanding Balance – After paying my bill in full, the receptionist asked if I wanted to schedule another appointment, which proves I had no remaining balance at the time of my visit. Now, months later, I receive a charge for a fraudulent consultation I never had, which has negatively impacted my credit. This practice has failed me repeatedly—not only in incorrect billing but in failed retreatments that have cost me time and money. I am respectfully requesting that Dr. Sylvaggio Endodontics remove this fraudulent charge from my credit report immediately. I have always paid in full at the time of service and have done nothing wrong to warrant this false debt. I urge future patients to review their bills carefully before leaving this office and ensure they are not overcharged for services they never received.

They don’t care if their patients live or die. SO OVERPRICED AND PREDATORY, DONT DO IT! They botched my Root Canal— for context, I take VERY good care of my teeth, my smile and hygiene are everything to me! I was in a car accident, cracked my molar so I got a root canal at silvaggio’s. it turns out they never put a post in so now just 3 years later my “permanent” crown FELL OUT and I need a whole other root canal on the same tooth. Well now I don’t have insurance and they’re charging $350 just to sit down in a chair and be seen, not even to touch the tooth. I didnt really want to go back there anyway because they obviously did a bad job, but I thought I’d explain the situation and see if they could help me in any way.

Like maybe just waive the consultation fee since they did the root canal that didn’t last, and I’d already be paying $2,000 out of pocket for them the treat it again. But no, they said they were not willing to help in any way, and made sure to tell me that even if I want to pay it, they won’t do any payment plans so I’ll have to pay in full up front. Now I was going to do that anyway, it’s not even about the money. It’s 2 grand ya know, not $20k, I can afford it! But it feels wrong to me that they won’t stand by their work and do right by their patients. They know I have an abscess and now a fistula and fully don’t care.

I went to a dentist office in Bethlehem that didn’t have the right specialist so they COULDNT treat me, but they’re doing everything they can to get me seen by an endo that can. Actually showing me they care about me getting this taken care of to save my tooth and my face! Because of the bad work I got at Silvaggio’s, if I don’t get it retreated, I could need facial reconstruction surgery and even get an infection to my brain. They do not care if their patients live or die, they just want your money.
