Very easy to schedule as a new patient. Alison was the hygienist and asked questions to be sure she understood my history. She checked in while doing my cleaning to be sure I was doing ok. I am not the best patient so this was appreciated and I felt very comfortable. Will ask for her again.

Dr. Skinner was kind and showed real concern for my comfort for the further work I will need. Great experience.

He is always keeping up-to-date on the latest in dentistry and furthering his practice and knowledge base. I'd refer any one to visit Skinner Dental for your dental and orthodontic needs.

My original dentist of 8 year got retired and I was referred to this practice. After their exam, I suddenly had "major issues" with five teeth that would cost me thousands of dollars because based on their billing, my insurance wouldn't cover most of their estimated work. I decided to get a second opinion, went to another dentist, who explained to me that most of the treatment the Skinner Dental suggested is too aggressive and not required based on the current condition of my teeth. I still needed some work done but not to that extent. The intention of my review is not to criticize their work, I am sure Skinner Dental has experienced professionals and would provide excellent care.

However, this place is focused on overcharging patients and recommending unnecessary care. If you decide to go to Skinner Dental, ask questions and challenge their recommendations. Otherwise, we'll be wasting money on unnecessary treatment.

I have a lot of dental anxiety and was nervous for my appointment here and the staff was amazing with helping me not feel so anxious. They were thoughtful and would always check in to see how I’m doing. Amanda was my Dental Hygienist and did and amazing job and made me feel a lot more confident and better.

So happy to have had a positive experience and felt my concerns were taken seriously. Definitely my go to place now for all my dental needs
