I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Truan , I was so anxious about the appointment since I have so many dental work to be done, but Dr. Truan was so Amazing he took the time to explain every procedure he was doing and answered all my questions, the whole procedure was pain free, comfortable .which helped me overcome my fears. My overall experience with SmileATL was awesome- I finally found a good office in Atlanta!! Front office: Usually it takes weeks to get in as a new patient, however, Zowie and Lincoln got me right in. I had explained a horrible experience that I had with a new dentist I was testing out and was worried about "wasting" my annual visit via my insurance. However, the ladies researched my options with my insurance provider and confirmed I was able to switch to this location. Esthetics of the office: From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting as well as the front desk staff. There is a waiting area that has water when you walk in. You are immediately greeted as well.

Dental Hygienist: My appointment was with Krishana whom was absolutely amazing. She was patient and very thorough with my exam. She also gave me feedback, in a loving way, on ways to better my oral hygiene practices which was nice. Most hygienist just tell you "no cavities, keep it up", so to get a more thorough session, with feedback, felt really good. Dentist: When the dentist came in, she as well gave a very thorough exam and finally gave me feedback that actually made sense on a problem area between my molars. Over the past 3 years I have gone to 2 other dentist that just told me to "chew on the other side" or "it'll end up settling" and telling me there was not much more that could be done.

I knew this didn't make sense because I was getting numbness after eating. However, she gave me a 2 solutions and we start working on it next week. Overall: I felt welcomed, cared about and most important to me- not judged. When you are an expert in a field, it is easy to judge the way others take care of themself and I did not feel that at all. My problem felt like their problem, which was amazing! When I left, I said to my husband, "now this is how clean my mouth should feel after a cleaning!"
