I gave them 2 stars only because they were really nice BUT my daughter has complained about every tooth they worked on. Not sure if it's her gums or what, they should have figured it out being the professionals. Also another tooth they "fixed" broke in half and she's in tears constantly until I can get her in someplace else.

We did take her back multiple times due to her being in pain and they basically dismissed her saying nothing was wrong.

I use to love this doctor and staff. But after getting an extraction that he had filled and it broke. I ended up getting bone spurs. I went back and explain I was in excruciating pain they gave me antibiotics and pain meds and gave me an appt for 2 weeks to come back. I woke that morning and realize I had bones coming out of the extraction. I went to the appt and explain I had bone coming out. dr Pilat was mad that i didn’t call which I don’t think would have helped I went in as soon as I could and was mad that I didn’t want to get my teeth clean. Basically told me he had more important patients.

I left crying because I followed what he said and some how he made it my fault. His exact works were I have other patients. My thoughts why don’t you worry about this patient that has told you something wasn’t right. Very disappointed and will not be coming back. Go somewhere else where they actually care about your dental work. This office is so unprofessional. I don’t know how many times I’ve listen to the front desk staff talk crap about there patients in front of the patients. Just not a good dentistry.

Update. Staff seen my review I’m glad they did!!! Do better!! But canceled my children’s appointment without a notice. Glad I was off and didn’t schedule myself off and miss work because of this. So unprofessional for a dentist to take your kids off the schedule because they saw your review. I guess word of mouth does work.

After 15+ years of neglecting my teeth I was afraid of going to a dentist. Dr. Pilat and his staff have been absolutely amazing. The level of comfort in office and after care support has been a life changer for me. It’s literally life changing to not feel anxious about visiting the dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Pilat and his staff to anyone with dental related anxiety.

I have gone to the Smile Center since I was a child. I received my routine dental care (and still do) along with my orthodontics there. I’ve taken my three children to the Smile Center for routine dental care along with orthodontics since birth. Heidi and Renee are both incredibly thorough during cleanings and patient with my kiddos.

Kyleigh makes wire changes a breeze for son. Unfortunately, we have had some accidents throughout the years where my children have knocked teeth loose/broken teeth and have required extractions and Dr. Pilat and staff were very patient and kind to my scared kiddos.
