This place was great for my kids. Never been to a dental office so clean and organized. The process was quick and the staff are all super friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to any parent bringing their child. And definitely coming back in 6 months

I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding my daughter’s recent visit to your practice for a tooth extraction. What transpired during the procedure was not only alarming but posed a serious risk to her safety. During the extraction, the needle became stuck in my daughter’s mouth. While I understand that working with children can be challenging, and they may move during procedures, the fact that the needle came out of the numbing device is completely unacceptable. Mistakes like this simply cannot happen. To make matters worse, when I asked about the needle being stuck, I was not informed of what had actually happened.
This lack of transparency in a moment where my daughter’s life was in danger is deeply concerning. If my daughter had swallowed the needle or if it hadn’t been visible to the human eye this could have escalated from a tooth extraction to an emergency medical crisis. Even with an X-ray, the potential consequences are unthinkable. Out of sheer desperation, I took it upon myself to search for the needle, and I was the one who ultimately found it. The thought of what could have happened still horrifies me, and I need to know that your practice fully understands the gravity of this situation. This isn’t just about one mistake; it’s about the safety protocols and communication practices that failed in a critical moment.
I urge you to reflect on how such an incident occurred and what immediate steps will be taken to ensure this never happens again. The safety of your patients must always come first, and incidents like this should never happen in a professional medical setting. I hope you recognize how serious this matter is and take immediate action to address it. I look forward to hearing what steps will be implemented to prevent this from happening in the future .

My experience with Dr. Deborah Ohevshalom was deeply disappointing and has left me heartbroken. I came in for a routine filling for a very small cavity. Before the procedure, I had absolutely no pain or sensitivity. I took pride in having healthy teeth. Dr. Ohevshalom told me that cavities are painless, and that if someone experiences pain, it usually means a root canal is needed. She assured me that she was "saving" my tooth from future decay, and I trusted her.
During the procedure, although I was numbed, I felt uncomfortable pressure as she filed down my molar. Immediately after, I began to experience severe pain. The pain was so sharp that it was enough to cause pounding in my temple and difficulty drinking or eating. I returned for a follow-up, and she claimed the pain was due to my nerve being “too big,” implying that my “anatomy” was at fault. However, the majority of my molar is now gone. It feels hollow, like a bowl. This is not what I expected from a small filling. I believe far too much of the tooth was removed unnecessarily, causing extreme pain and permanent damage.
Despite antibiotics and pain relief, the symptoms never improved. I was later seen by another dentist in the same office, who reviewed the X-ray and confirmed that the cavity was very small and that this level of pain SHOULD NOT occur after a routine filling. Now, I must undergo a root canal treatment that should never have been needed if the procedure was done correctly. Dr. Deborah Ohevshalom acted carelessly and failed to take responsibility for the outcome. I would not recommend her to anyone.
