I had an excellent experience at Smile Designers Dentistry! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional. The office is clean, modern, and well-equipped, which made me feel confident in the care I was receiving. Dr. Westcott was fantastic—thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly.
I never felt rushed, and the treatment I received was top-notch. I highly recommend Smile Designers Dentistry to anyone looking for high-quality dental care in a comfortable environment. I'll definitely be returning for all my future dental needs!

I tend to wait to "digest" an incident before I submit a bad review instead of submitting one immediately so the review is accurate. I will start by saying there is no sympathy from this office by understanding that sometimes life happens when somebody is 2min. late to their appt. My wife scheduled an appt. for 01/07/2025 when she began to feel discomfort just days after having a procedure performed here in October 2024. She walked in hoping her discomfort would be resolved. Instead, she was told she had to reschedule again nearly an entire month away. We wrote down the appt. was at 12:45pm when we scheduled it (apparently they told my wife it was actually 12:40pm). After she left, I called to help get her seen asap. I was told there is a "10min. rule" by one receptionist and the other receptionist told me they "didn't know what the 10min. rule was and it's up to the doctor's discretion about late appts. " If the 10min. rule" is "true", then my wife should have been seen. .
. . I asked to speak to the doctor himself and was told "that's why we're here" by the receptionist. Then, I was asked if I wanted to leave a message for the doctor. . . . . what is the purpose of that if "that's what the receptionists are for. " The same receptionist also told me they had to speak to my wife about scheduling an appointment. . . . . . .
it's an appointment. . . . . . we're not discussing medical history. . . . . . The "people" skills at this office need to improve. We found another practice that scheduled us just days after this incident and everybody there was lovely.

Have been with for 29 years in the beginning they were great. At some point it became about the number of visits they could fill. The service dropped off. Had a very bad tooth ache and couldn’t been seen for weeks. Dr Grossman said I’ll help you out and get you in .
Yeah 2 weeks when there’s an opening. My entire family and extended family are leaving the practice. And they can fill it with another number. Been very disappointed.

After years with Smile Designers, I finally left because they repeatedly ignored minor, fixable issues—like decaying fillings and early-stage cavities—until they escalated into serious problems. Instead of addressing concerns proactively, I ended up with broken teeth, root canals, and caps. After researching, I found this is a common pattern with them. I also mentioned at two cleanings that my teeth looked thinner in photos over the years. Their response? “Probably natural aging. ” I’m 35, and my teeth have always been thick—so this felt dismissive. One painful experience stands out: During a routine cleaning, I mentioned a minor discomfort in a tooth.
They checked and said everything was fine. A month later, I called back in severe pain, suspecting a root canal was needed. I waited over a month for a consultation, where they confirmed it. By then, the infection had spread through my body, causing brain fog, dizziness, and fatigue. They prescribed an antibiotic that didn’t work, and when I called to let them know that after several days on the meds, I was still in a lot of pain, they had me wait for an appointment and come to see the dentist, who was oddly surprised when I told him that I still had pain. He then said that I needed a stronger antibiotic and that he couldn’t start the root canal that day, so I don’t think anyone ever told him that I had called with that very same concern. The people in the office were always very dismissive and acted like my concerns were invalid.
It seems like there’s a big disconnect between the dentists and the office. After switching dentists, I finally got clarity. My new provider didn’t outright bash Smile Designers but showed me X-rays revealing worn-down fillings that needed replacement—exactly what caused my teeth to break twice in 2024. Smile Designers never flagged this. My new dentist also helped me identify a surprising cause of my tooth decay: my habit of drinking La Croix throughout the day, especially citrus flavors. If you want a dentist who prioritizes prevention and actually listens, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
