We started off really happy with Smile Doctors. The staff was friendly, the service was great, and we felt like our son was in good hands. But lately, the quality and attention to detail just haven’t been the same. At a recent appointment, my son came home and the bracket they had just placed fell off. We went back to have it fixed, but after that visit, we realized they didn’t reconnect the wire properly.

When we called to get it addressed, they said they couldn’t see him sooner because of the scheduling template they use—so now we’re stuck waiting four more days to get it corrected. It’s frustrating to deal with preventable mistakes and then be delayed due to rigid scheduling. We really want to keep trusting this office, but they need to bring back the attention and flexibility they had in the beginning.

We loved it here. People were so kind and professional. Results were as you'd hope. . . my son's smile looks great and no issues with the dental part. With that said, be sure you understand all the particulars. For example, when we paid for the retainers, it indicated a "free" extra set in the event something happens to his first set (and it will), but what we were not aware of was the specific timeline in which you can get the extra set at no cost.

The retainers broke, we called and were told we'd have to pay full price. As difficult as it was, I expressed my honest opinion with them. UPDATE: Smile Doctors did call to make things right. I'd like to reiterate the excellent orthodontic work they did for my son. We could not be happier. Regardless of the misunderstanding and outcome, we would have, and will continue to send people to them. The dental work they will do for your kids will be, without question, 5 stars.
