I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even to my worst enemies. The treatment I received over the past two years severely compromised my occlusion, resulting in a noticeable anterior open bite that was not present before. After each visit, I left the clinic with a new issue caused by the dentist. My first treatment at Dr. Sohn's clinic involved getting two crowns, almost 2 and half years ago. During the appointment, Dr. Sohn was overly concerned about the color/shade of the crowns. She suggested whitening my natural teeth to match the crowns, as her shade selection was incorrect. Additionally, she failed to notice that the crowns were too short; they weren't even making contact with the opposing teeth until I pointed it out just before she was about to send me home. Since I had already paid out of pocket for the crowns, I felt compelled to go back for routine checkups because I was experiencing issues with my bite after the crown placement.

Dr. Sohn attempted to fix the problems bit by bit at each appointment. I regret returning to this clinic. In 2024, Dr. Sohn completely ruined my natural bite by performing composite restorations on multiple teeth on the same side of the upper arch in a single visit, without checking for the normal bite during the treatment. In hindsight, I realized that some of these restorations were unnecessary. As a result, I developed severe sensitivity, which made it difficult for me to chew food and disrupted my sleep due to clenching and grinding at night due the to the high points on the restorations. Every time she tried to fix it, the situation worsened. She suggested that it might not improve and implied that it could be psychological, with her hygienist even recommending meditation to manage the pain. Dr.

Sohn also suggested making a night guard, claiming there was no other solution for the issues caused by her treatment. I have a background in dentistry, so I knew this was neither psychological nor that a night guard is the proper treatment plan for the issue. Eventually, I consulted a dentist who specialize in occlusion and temporomandibular joint disorders. This specialist showed me images indicating that only one of my teeth made contact with the opposing teeth after the treatments at Dr. Sohn’s clinic. I had to undergo a process called Equilibration to address the consequences of the treatments I received from Dr. Sohn, also had to spent a lot of time, energy, and money restore a more balanced occlusion.

The Office was clean, bright and cheerful. Their staff are friendly, kind and personable. And Annie Sohn, DDS, PS was very informative and definitely does everything she can to preserve and save the teeth that she are able to. I usually have so much anxiety at the Dentist but this was the most relaxing and stress free dental experience I have ever had.
