Finding a good liable dentist is truly hard - I decided to try a new dentist (dr. Amer Shah) and use my insurance before the new year. I made apt for my daughter and myself. I have faithfully taking my daughter to the dentist and 6 months ago at another dental office they said her teeth were good but for some reason this dr stated my daughter had eight cavities which has never happened since she started going to dentist and now she is 18. Daughter says he back tooth hurts now (area where she had surgery 2 years ago) which she didn't have before the supposed fillin done in the same area. . . . . Before the appt the Dr. Armer Shah stated I had to pay money upfront which I've never had to (have two insurance) but when I called smile obsession main office they said I did not have to pay the amount he quoted and do not know why I was advised that. I proceeded to get the work done on my daughter and get bridge work done on my other side.

To sum it up I appreciate this doctor but he was very hard -rough with drilling my teeth for the 1st visit and place the temp wrong which caused tooth pain and headaches. He stated I might need a root canal due the pain but that wasn't the case (hoping wasn't wanting more money) but he prescribe inflammation medicine in which the pain went away. Was to get a follow up . Doctor never called to check on me as he stated he would to daughter on her 2nd fillin appt. On the day of my final filling for bridge I told him did not like how it fit because it appears to be a gap where partials or food can get in. . . . advised didn't feel secure or the same as the other side (done by different dentist). I told him it was fine for now and felt smooth. Dentist proceeded to drill the bridge while in mouth making it go from being smooth to a sanded down feeling. (Feel crocked) .

The young lady with the water pike was squirting water on me(face) and never apologized for her errors. Overall the office is clean and timely but I don't think I'll be back for anymore service. I'm also prepared for a response with excuses. I understand the medical field. Follow up 6-12 Since post Dr tried to fix the problem but giving another bridge only to have the worst pain ever that lasted months. Had to go to another dentist who advised the previous dentist but my teeth under severe trauma . She gave me some ointment to apply a month and said if the pain doesn't go away she will have to refer me to have possible root canal due to possible damaged nerve due to the force on teeth. My daughter is now having pain on the side of her mouth where she once had surgery. This has been the most interesting experience.

Dr Pagel is very thorough with his exam and explanation of dental work that needs to be completed. Cara, the Dental Hygienist, was extra gentle and made me feel at ease throughout my dental cleanings. My entire family goes here, would highly recommend.

First, they did an average job on my tooth because till today my teeth are still very sensitive to cold or hot drink or meal on top of that second they charged me extra $500ish after I did a payment of more than $1,500 using Sunbit. that the doctor told me insurance will pay for it but ended up not paying for X,Y reason.

The Funny thing is that i had a conversation in person with the doctor and he told me to not worry about the bill but those ladies on the phone kept calling me! and charged me those ladies on the phone a so rude! see how one of them will answer to defend their cabinet below. So if you are looking for a dentist, please keep looking!

This was my son’s first visit to the dentist in 5 years. We were both very nervous. Dr Shah was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us very well. But we give the 5 stars to Kara. She was very patient knew her job well. She was able to calm my son down and took her time to clean his teeth very well. We were happy with the result
