I hadn't been to a dentist in years. During an oral surgery procedure (incurred as a result of my dental-care negligence), I was referred to Smile Shop. I was very apprehensive, naturally, but I knew I needed to go. I was encouraged not only by the recommendation of my oral surgeon, but also by the universally positive reviews I subsequently read online.

Everyone I encountered at Smile Shop, from the receptionist with whom I made my appointment, to the dentist's assistant, the hygienist, and my dentist, Dr. Henrickson, was kind, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. I couldn't have asked for a more painless (literally and figuratively) return to regular dental care. My thanks to all the staff!

Yesterday, I had my first visit. The staff were very friendly. And I felt very comfortable with the doctor. I highly recommend this dentist office. Especially if you're looking for a new dentist in Newtown. I really appreciated that the doctor was extremely thorough during the exam and she made me feel very comfortable. Patient of many years. Dr. Hendrickson - is knowledgeable & takes time to listen & acknowledge & evaluate. UPDATE Phila Magazine 3/2025 TOP DENIST (see photo). She is engaging & approachable. Doesnt recommend unnecessary treatments. Plus l am always very pleased w/Donna (Dental Hygenist). She is extremely detail oriented & knows her profession.

I have a small mouth & she gives me time in between, never rushing & always considerate. She is patient & sympathetic to pain. Gives good tips on how to maintain oral health & if I need a nudge she states comfortably. The front reception (Stef) is friendly & upbeat, always welcoming & helpful.
